I'm chiming in a bit late to this thread.
I found comparable free fonts on da font or 1001 free fonts for the fonts I had as cartridges and installed them on my computer (same with my beloved Quickutz) to use with Silhouette. It took a rainy afternoon going down the font rabbit hole, but I got what I wanted. Not exact but close enough. I gave cartridges to friends that have Cricuts, then gave my machine and the remaining cartridges to another friend.
I think the biggest issue if I was in your situation is the Disney stuff that you MAY want to cut later. If you have storage space, get rid of the other cartridges and keep the Disney stuff and the Cricut for a while longer.
I've sold stuff on Mercari. I like it better than eBay for selling. It seems easier to list items and the fees are slightly less than Ebay.

I am throwing out another idea for those who are on the fence about getting rid of their Cricut's. Disney coloring pages. Cricut has always been murky on their angel policies. If you are not selling Disney related projects use coloring pages. I wouldn't keep my Cricut for licensed cartridges. I don't like computer die cutting. I do have other machines. I think it is a hassle. I like OG Cricut because it is easy. I guess I would be a lazy crafter according to influencers. I will print out coloring pages and make my own characters. I like fussy cutting. I love coloring pages.
