Anyone have luck getting a Vagabond unstuck? I put a sandwich in it and it fed it in about halfway and then just jammed. It's stuck halfway in. I've tried to reverse motor and forward motor. The motor just spins. DH and I tried the remedy on the Splitcoasters website (hitting wood next to plates to try to drive them forward). The only screws on the machine don't seem to lessen the grip it has on my plates.
I've emailed Sizzix and am waiting for a reply. I've googled.

I was using a friends vagabond and I got it stuck. I really thought I'd have to buy her a new one. It wasn't budging. I just kept pulling and tugging and eventually it started moving like a centimeter at a time. It took me about 45 min to finally get it unstuck. I didn't use it after that and none have no desire for one.
Good luck!

The response from Sizzix customer service: "Thank you for writing. We do apologize this has happened. Is the "sandwich" still stuck? If you have any other questions or concerns, please click the link below..."
Both, that was supremely useful. I write them asking for assistance and they say sorry, is it still stuck? Like how is it NOT GOING TO BE STUCK WHEN YOU GIVE ME NO SUGGESTIONS?
I did click the link and pretty much tell them that in nicer terms. What a totally useless response.

Oh no! I really hope you manage to get it unstuck and still be able to use it. I've heard things like this and the Vagabond being unusable afterwards. I bough one in the spring at Ms on clearance and got an amazing deal, but I almost returned it because of this exact issue. I did keep it - so far so good - and I really do love it... but I still have my Big Shot just in case. Somehow I think this issue is inevitable and so I hope you find a solution and let us know! Fingers are crossed for you!

This happened to my mom's Vagabond, and she managed to get her sandwich out--which was too thick for the machine. Only she heard a big "pop" and after a lot of research, I found if you hear a pop then the machine is a goner. She'd had it about 2 or 3 years at that point and used it a ton, and it was just an honest mistake, but alls it takes is one!
