What does Shu-Wen mean about transfer foil and red line tape (this is in today's Product Play lesson from Ali Edwards)?
Can you just make something sparkly without much work?
Do you just press transfer foil onto the adhesive? Are there certain brands that work better than others?
I have never tried this before and I'm surprised this is the first time I've heard of it.
Actually she's saying SCOR tape. Will have to look that up.

Scor tape, also known as sookwang tape (that's what's written on the backer), works with foil. Actually I think any sticky adhesive can potentially work. Wide adhesive sheets, the 2 way glue pens that dry tacky... I had mixed success with the gluey stuff I used but whatever you have is worth a try, especially if you have foil scraps. Old Jennifer McGuire video about no-heat foiling. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rbG0VsmtvM

Not certain, I can’t keep my foil types straight, but it’s worth a try! I would just lay down a stripe of adhesive and lay down your foil pretty side up and burnish it well with some plain paper over the top. It’ll either work or not. Fingers crossed!!

Awesome. I'm getting out my DD supplies today.
All is going well except for the alphas. I have way too many. I'll purge but I still don't have a place for them. I have two letter size zipper pouches full of alphas I only use for DD.
Maybe I'll try to put them in a 3-ring binder. I've done that before with my other alphas.
Can't wait to try to add some stripes to my papers! I only have ACOT cherry tape (which I find easier to use than red line tape, not as thick, and just as sticky).

I just tried it with the Minc foil, and it does work. This is great news! Thank you for reporting back. I have an abundance of Minc foil, and mixed results with actually getting my Minc to work. Perhaps this is the way to go...at least there is an alternative to using all my foil!

I don't have a minc and thus no minc foil, but I stopped by Michaels yesterday and tried the Cricut transfer foil and it worked beautifully. Loved this technique!

With the double-stick tape, either type of foil will work. Even the rolls of foil they use for fingernails (lots of options for not a lot of $$ on Amazon). Not the striping tape (although that works really well for cards, too) and not the ones with cotton pads for removing gel polish.

I'd love to see what people create with this technique. I have tons of minc foil also and would love inspo on how to use with tape/adhesive
