Thanks for sharing the cards, CoffeeCrafter ! They are beautiful. I'm glad they are quickly sending you a replacement stencil! Maybe if they get enough feedback they'll start including instructions for all die cutting machines and include all pieces of the card in the kit. I for one, would like to get everything I need to make the cards over and over, not just once. So the aqua Wish was a die cut? I received a big "Hello" stamp as a freebie one month, and have not used it yet. I don't think they have a die for it - if they did I would probably get it. I've seen them do a lot with the big "Happy" die, but nothing with the "Hello."

We stamped the aqua Big Wish word on the die cut during the class using the Big Wish Cling & Clear stamp set that was included in our kit. The coordinating dies are available to attendees this weekend for additional purchase. They also put the Big Happy stamps and dies list as well, but not the Big Hello.

I forgot to mention there is also a special freebie available for attendees this weekend. Instead of the Ferns Forever Background stamp which is the November freebie, attendees would get an exclusive freebie called Craftiness is Happiness. If you spend enough, you can also get a free coordinating die set. It's super cute, but I'm not sure I want to spend the amount necessary to get both the stamp set and coordinating dies.

Wow, that's a lot to spend. I'm waiting for their sales this coming week - but I'm not interested in the fern stamp or those. LOL I really don't have anything on a wish list from them except some ink colors to fill my collection.

I was also a student in the virtual Stamp Joy yesterday! I love the cards shown above!
Price aside, I really enjoy the SJ events because they are so incredibly simple to prepare for—there isn’t any (or very little) homework, and I pulled three things from my “stash” —Glitter Grab, which allows you to foil using a stencil, the sentiment stamp set mentioned above and a small die with stars, which has been used in at least two other TE virtual events. We were able to buy those things during a discount period (10%) prior to the event.
We made four cards and I was more or less able to comfortably keep up and create with the instructor. The only technique I had never done was using the Glitter Grab, and it was quite successful and I will do it again. The other techniques (such as the dry embossing with my Platinum 6) I hadn’t done in years but will revisit.
Negatives—I totally understand that the cost of supplies is an issue but I do agree that at least the sentiments used in the cards should have been included. There were two used and in the “main” Stamp Joy, they will often have a stamp set as part of the packet that has a single stamp from a variety of other stamp sets. So you don’t get the dies but you do have the stamps.
As for the Virtual Stamp Joy, I am signing up and will just mention that the class and the Friday add-on are about $100 more than last year. I don’t know if that means prices have gone up that much or if we’ll get more product. I’m guessing somewhere in the middle?

I am signed up for Saturday only, although it almost seems like the longer classes should be the main event and the shorter "makes & takes" the bonus add-on. I'm not certain enough about the whole thing to take a vacation day Friday.

And I might be dropping out and requesting a refund. FB just suspended my account and is demanding a photo. I tried giving them the one from my LinkedIn profile and they didn't like it. I don't have many photos of myself and don't plan to take one just for them. I am sick of their sh!t.

They seem to be cracking down on the dumbest stuff. I don't know what to say. They certainly make it difficult to get help when they suspend accounts. I hope you can get it straightened out.

It is "straightened out". None of it makes any sense at all to me -- what made them decide to suspend, what made them decide I was ok after all -- zero percent of it. Still hate them.
But I'll be participating in the event!
