I'm still holding strong. Not even a temptation.
Good luck to all!

I’m planning to frost after BF sales, at least through January and hopefully beyond. More than frost, I need to get busy using!

This last week has been easy. Today will be a challenge. I'm a little anxious about a vet visit for my dog. It will be hard not to shop the sales while I'm waiting.

Well that didn't last long 😂 I placed an order with sb.com for the new VB line, picked up some albums on a black Friday sale and then stocked up on the SC $1 digital sale. I'm canceling my dk kit after December then I'm on a freeze. With all the stamps, digital journaling cards and new inks I've bought I'm planning on doing my 2024 PL album with what I've got.

DH bought me some things from SB.com but I managed not to shop myself.

I have a vague sense of maybe having missed out on some good deals over the weekend, but I can’t actually name a single thing I need. So many emails but nothing particularly tempting. On a non-crafty note, I went to order some sheets for my MIL last night and the 50% off Cyber Monday code expired as I started doing the checkout - stupid time zones. But I just decided to shop somewhere else where prices are more reasonable and I don’t need huge discounts to feel like I wasn’t ripped off.

How have you freezer peas been doing the last couple of weeks? Still frozen? Thawed? I've stayed frozen even during the acot daily sales and today's free shipping. I did look and put one thing in my cart but I ended up ditching it. I'm sure I'll make it to the end of the year and probably longer. I haven't seen any pre-order collections that I'm interested in.

My procrastination and general grumpiness is serving me well! I haven’t felt like buying anything lately. I placed one order to scrapbook dot com a month or two ago for specific papers (which I have been using/have used up) which got me back on their mailing list. Deleting their stupid emails twice a day makes me just angry enough not to want to look. (Yes, I have unsubscribed, I need to filter them in my email since they won’t stop.) I haven’t been on IG much, but cardmaking accounts are already into Valentines, ugh. And I’m too busy right now, don’t want to buy things that I can’t start using right away.

I keep putting things in my cart for "one last order" before the end of the year, but I've held strong!

I'm not technically in the freezer and hadn't done any scrappy purchases since mid-summer until I got the $10 Documenter Kit from Studio Calico this month. I need a new memory planner for next year and found a European store that has the 2024 ones 40% off but I'm not browsing and adding to "make up for shipping". Keeping it tight.
I do plan to splurge in the first few months of 2024 and buy a Silhouette Portrait. It'd be my very first electronic die-cutting machine and I've been lusting over these for many, many years. I'll try to wait until I get the hang of it before I get the foil set from WMRK and other possible accessories.
So, yep, I'm freezer-ish. Is that good enough for this thread?

I would consider doing a freeze starting in the New Year. I’ll be going on the Paige Evans cruise in June so I may have to get something for that. Other than that I’d be good to start a freeze with others .

I have not bought any scrapbook stuff yet this year. But seriously, I *tried* to organize my supplies recently and I have way too much, time to Freeze.

I am going to be frozen in February and March.
I have a $1500 vehicle repair scheduled in Feb and spring break is in March. And I want to save up for a new Le Creuset skillet.
I only spent $38 this month on 2 stamp/die sets from MFT that were on super sale.

I got snagged by a year end sale. But only to the tune of $22.00. Two items that I didn't already have something similar to substitute.
Plus, when I changed over from Evernote to One Note for crafty stash tracking I went through all my items (again!) and pulled a lot of stuff to get rid of. I've been selling it on Mercari. (It's like eBay only easier IMO to list and mail, although it's been a long while since I sold on eBay so they could've changed.)

stacey562 I plan on "being chilly" in 2024, too, at least to start the year. I have two huge bins of product I purchased during the last half of 2023 and most of it sits unused. This is also the time I start prepping my spring vegetable garden and a lot of my extra time is devoted to gardening rather than scrapbooking. I am still on the NJFB Design Team and will continue to make pages each month! But my scrapbooking time will decline a bit in the coming months, so my spending also needs to decline.

I have been frozen on scrappy purchases for awhile. Not because I necessarily needed to be, but more so because none of the most recent releases have caught my attention. The last batch of paper I purchased was Shimelle's new collection, and I think I bought that in August.
January is a no spend month for me in general, so there won't be an scrappy purchases for the foreseeable future. In fact, I still have to clean out my craft room so I actually can scrap! Christmas always does a number on the household.

I am frosty. I still allow my Elle’s Studio sub and a small purchase for must-have, discounted add-ons from there to bundle with my kit, but I am being much more selective, at least that’s what I’m telling myself right now. We’ll see what happens come release tomorrow, but I plan to stay strong. I haven’t bought anything yet this month and am trying to use more!

Had two craft stores close near me so I went a little crazy in their massively discounted stock clearance sales - plus that 40% off and small shipping charge at ae recently had me buy way too many albums! Now that’s over I have major plans to stash bust in 2024 and be frozen!

I’m still frozen and have been for about two months I think. I’m not feeling tempted by anything so I’m content to stay in the freezer for now. I just used my Pinkfresh Chrysanthemum for the first time. I have a lot of untouched supplies that should keep my happy for quite some time.

If you don't mind, I'd like to join you in the cooler. Not certain I could survive in a deep freeze. I'm currently organizing my space and the amount of unused stuff I have is obscene, so I'd like to not purchase anything until March. I will most likely need to place an order for ATG tape. I think I'm down to my last few rolls, but other than that I have plenty of everything else.

I am trying the year freeze for the first time. I've been back into scrapping more after the holidays and I love so much of what I have, some of it acquired in the past 5ish years or so. I just want to use/play with what I have. I don't really buy much anyways, no kits, I probably make a handful of purchases a year then attend scrapbook expo. I may even skip that this year, not sure yet. At the same time I was having these thoughts, I came across Victoria Marie's year of the freeze and listened to her NY day youtube. I scrapbook similar to her in how I curate kits by mixing collections and supplies, so I am going to try to follow along there. I am also excited to hear more from her now while she is not on design teams or having to use certain product. I am looking forward to the challenge.

Still fairly frozen - ordering photos (I didn't order for a good part of 2023 so I'm playing catch-up). I was at HL yesterday but I bought an 8x8 album plus a refill pack, adhesive, and a pack of red cardstock AND I used a gift card. All needed basics vs wants.
I have more than enough STUFF so I'm really trying to focus on using it rather than shopping.

I'm still chilly - still ordering photos but scrapping also so...
I did pick up some adhesive, 6 sheets of PP, and 2 sticker sheets at HL today with a gift card but they are for specific upcoming layouts not for stash.
