They are having a special right now to join for 6 mo. I have been batting around the idea of joining, but want to know if the extra, members-only content is worth the price.
I do like listing to the Roundtable. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

I've been a member for about 4 years. I like the videos that Noell & Izzy produce. I have them downloaded on my iPad. They are well made, short (usually 15 min) and packed with good ideas. I think the membership is worth it. Plus I listen to the podcast and want to support them.

I was a member for a year and a half. My favorite type of video, flexible templates, weren't coming frequently enough for me. I noticed that those were the only videos I looked forward to. The others were a bit technique-y for me. Yes, that's a word! I do still listen to paperclipping and I just joined their message board yesterday. It seems to be moving nicely.
I still do want to support them, so will use their link whenever I decide to take a class again over at Big Picture Classes.

The videos are really high quality, and I like her clear presentation. However, I think I really know and understand her style now, so the videos seem a little repetitive. I think it would be worth it to join if you want to spend some time going through the old videos, lots there. Just paying for the two new ones a month probably isn't worth it, in my opinion. On the other hand, I love the roundtable and I feel like I ought to support their efforts. There you have it---a mixed bag.

I love the podcast and have always felt that I should support them with a membership, however, I have taught scrapbooking (including design) for 10+ years so I don't feel that I would learn anything I don't already know by watching the videos. (I might be totally wrong about that.) Also, we have a very different style. I lean more towards Cathy Zielske's Clean and Simple. I do think they are very high quality videos and she does an excellent job teaching design principles so if you like her style of scrapbooking and want to learn about design or just be inspired, it would be a good fit. We all definitely need inspiration. We have the stuff - we need inspiration to use it!

Thanks, everyone! I guess with the loss of the Two Peas free video classes, I was looking for some inspirational scrappy videos. Since I was used to getting a lot of the videos for free, I wasn't sure if the PC videos would be worth the money. If it's just one person's style, not sure if I see it being worth almost $10 a month.
Hmmmmm still thinking....

I've been on the fence about joining myself. I love listening to the podcasts and checked out the message board. I think it's awesome that they have stepped up to the plate to be there for us Peas when the announcement was made. I just signed up for a class at BPC this morning so will have to wait a couple of weeks before I sign up for a membership. Am keeping an eye on this thread for other replies that may be forthcoming.

I've been on the fence about joining as well. Guess my feeling is that there are so many free resources out there that I'm not sure how much benefit I'd get from a membership. Guess I'll mull over it a bit more.

I subscribed for awhile, but had to drop some things for $ reasons. I could listen to Noell all day, she and Izzy put out a good product.

I have been a non-shmo for almost a year now- I LOVE the podcast and the videos! I think there is great content in all 200+ videos and they are there anytime I want them as a member.
Take the plunge especially since there is a deal!!
I love Izzy's laugh!! He makes me smile -even on the cloudiest of days!

I too just signed up, because the came to the rescue so quickly to put up a message board and gallery for the displaced peas. Love the podcast and want to support them. I am enjoying the videos, I have a very different style but still feel I can apply the design techniques Noell focuses on even on my style of layouts. But I think the big part for me is supporting a place that may be my scrappy home for a very long time to come (crossing fingers).

I've been a subber for a while and think it's worth the money. The videos are well done and there is a variety of topics to watch.

I don't learn anything from her videos and they do seem repetitive, but they are high quality. I have the membership to help support PRT which I love. I've debated letting my paperclipping membership go when it expires, but for $28 for a year, I might keep it just to support the podcast. And as many have said her style is not my style. But she does do a good job of explaining why she's made choices so you can adapt to your own style.
