Eilean Donan Castle is one of the most famous castles in Scotland (possibly the world). How do you fancy a lovely house that has the most stunning views, including looking over to the castle? It’s a snip at £600,000. 😀 Castle View

The outside just does not let on how lovely the inside is.

I like it I’d buy it. (I don’t like the sloped ceilings upstairs though)

The outside just does not let on how lovely the inside is. And it has a dog shower in the utility room! I always look at floor plans to see how practical it would be to install one of these! (From someone who will never buy any of these houses, and doesn’t actually have a dog.😂)

Oh wow...that location is just to die for! The inside decor is fine - not exciting but nothing wrong with it but it's almost irrelevant isn't it P.S. Thank you for starting some new threads

Why is it so cheap? I can’t grasp being able to buy a good sized house with a nice view for that amount.

Those views are stunning!
I'm impressed by the sheer number of books they have in that wall of built-in shelves in the living space - I'm not sure I could get that much reading done with that view competing for my attention.😊
The zebra feature wall in the shower is, um, unexpected but I kind of like it.😂

I’m not a fan of the open plan but those windows and the view are to die for. Must be hard to keep that living area heated though. I could live there.

I would buy it if I was younger and had a family to fill it up. I am impressed that the house is nice and spacious and you get 5 acres of land too! I also noticed the dog washing station. The only thing that I didn’t care for was that zebra mural in the shower, but that could be removed. Nice big house, 5 acres of land, and a gorgeous view. Yes, please.

The views are amazing.
I don't like the inside of the house. Not a fan of slanted ceilings or "A" frame.

I am not a fan of normal or traditional. I like a smaller space (no more 1000sq ft) very open floor plan (but with some pony walls...for a bit of division, taller ceilings. One story loft, warehouse style, lots of windows..... but with a less industrial aesthetic. If I could design it, it would be an "E" shape (open with three alcoves with french doors or sliding barn doors) behind the long part of the "E" would be a long walk in storage closet-room. I like wood beams, a brick wall or two, lots of windows, not perfect, distressed, a bit of shabby chic, mix and match colors, candles, a bit of floral, cute signs, lots of photos(gallery wall), a bench or two, wood floors, etc... I have the decor part currently, just not the space part (I am in a smaller studio, which I love....but in my daydream of a perfect space for me are what I described above. I love love love Dharma's first apartment on the tv show Dharma and Greg. But I do prefer single story. I love Monica's apartment on Friends.

My "perfect home" may not be for everyone, and everyone else's "perfect home" may not be for me. I love looking at all the homes, even if they aren't my style. I love daydreaming about my perfect place.

The only thing that would have to be changed would be the zebra shower. The kitchen isn’t exactly my style but I could update it later. Love the staircase and patio railings. Can I keep the horse? And most of their furniture?😂

If you view the video of the home, another shower has a woman's face on the wall.

If you view the video of the home, another shwer has a woman's face on the wall. And the third bathroom has a cheetah with a ceremonial headdress on just like the zebra. I noticed a few other native pieces too.
