So terribly sorry I didn't get this posted last night for our early time zone peas!
I had a...mishap.
First - just to set the mood and energy level -
I have covid, and seem to have developed a cold on top of it. But I'm recovering and last night felt a bit better and instead of posting my sketch and going to bed like a good patient, I decided to play with Christmas cards.
Things went well. The design that had popped into my head like a lightbulb earlier turned into an easy and lovely card. I was efficient and my stamping went well and my embossing went great.
There was a small smell in the basement that was bothering me. Figured it was just the litter boxes needing a change. Remember: covid + cold.
And then I dropped the half-back pearls. You know the ones. You know the feeling. You know the sound as they fly across your hardwood.
Swearing loudly, I moved my lamp to the floor, my chair out of the way, and got down on hands and knees.
That's when I realized that my cat had had diarrhea under my chair. And I'd been rolling around in it for 30 minutes. Rolling. Around.
An hour later, my chair and floor were sanitized. The chair wheels, oh the wheels. And I picked up the pearls - they had actually flown AWAY from the mess and I didn't have to throw out too many.
OK - who wants a sketch?

My example uses scrap pieces (old Basic grey + others) and an old BoBunny double dot cardstock as background. The stickers are new-er Pink Fresh. The photo is a little blown out at the top: the white snowflake shape is actually a gold foil snowflake, and the white "ray" is a white/grey polkadot.
