I just bought the Stampwheel and was wondering about the Center Alignment Guides. They look like they’d be useful so I thought I’d ask the Peas. Has anyone used these and are they something I should get? Thanks.

Oh well, I went ahead and got it. It was $12 and I added another item to get the free shipping.

I just saw your question. I thought the alignment guides were pretty flimsy. I used then once and didn't find them useful.
I'm hoping in the next version, they print the alignments on the grip mat along with black grid lines.

craftmepink thanks for your answer. I agree they should print them on the grid. I kind of suspected they weren’t all that sturdy considering the low price.

I got my Stampwheel for Christmas and I did grab the alignment guides and a sentiment stamp from my wish list on the free shipping at $29 day that happened recently. Haven't had a chance to try anything out yet.
I will say that I was surprised that it was the Ultra Sticky mat, rather than the Low Tack one, that came with it. When I ordered my first one, from either SSS or SB.C, it said it was the lighter grip and also that it was the one that came with the SW. I was surprised and went and bought the low tack one at the other site. Yet when I look at the listing for the SW on the Altenew site now, it seems very clear that it's the Ultra Sticky one. I guess I will move my spare US to my Stamparatus and try the Low Tack for stenciling.

There have been many threads about the Stampwheel; this is the one I can find now.
Some folks have been concerned that it's too big and hard to store.
My new craft cabinet has some drawers! My Stampwheel is in one, stacked on top of my Stamparatus. Its footprint is only slightly larger.
I don't know WHY it comes in such a freaking large box -- maybe to justify the price?!
EtA: Ignore the crazy lady. That's without the petal plate...which is the latest victim of my disorganization. I'm sure it will turn up. I think I'm going to put a command hook on the inside of the cabinet door and hang it there.
EtAA (edited to add again): Found it. Tucked it onto the inside of the door in the recessed panel thingy. So far, it's staying without any hook or anything else.
