Does the air fryer feature work well?
If so, what range brand/model do you have?
I'm specifically looking for a duel fuel, double oven range with an air fryer feature.
Thanks so much!

Yes. I’ve had several ovens like that over the years and I feel the convection feature works very well. I use it for baking, too.
I think I’ve had 2 ranges with gas on top and an electric oven (but they weren’t double ovens.) My current range has a split oven. If you take out the divider, then you have one big oven. When we bought the house, I thought that I’d like it, but neither the top or bottom is tall enough for my Dutch oven, so I just took the divider out to have one big oven.
I feel that the convection feature works well. I don’t have an air fryer because of that.

Generally speaking, the standalone air fryers do a better job of "air frying" than the ranges with an air fry function. It's really just a convection oven, which is useful in many ways beyond air frying, and I would highly recommend.
We have a lot of customers who want an air fry setting on new ranges and the pretty consistent feedback we get is they are happy with their range overall but end up preferring to use a standalone air fryer over the full-sized oven.
One range that meets your requirements that we get consistently good feedback on is the GE Cafe C2Y486P4TW2. It's an overall good dual fuel, double oven range and it does have a no-preheat air fryer setting.

I was just thinking that I've had one for over a half year and haven't even tried it yet. I have a ninja flip and use that for air frying. And most small things to bake, roast etc.
Hardly use the oven anymore except for big stuff. Like a turkey...
Happy Thanksgiving, peas!.

I just got a new oven today as my old one went kaput. I tried to air fry a sweet potato for lunch. I don’t know if I didn’t do it right, do you need a special basket…? I just used a cookie sheet and it took longer than it did in my normal air fryer. But I didn’t know how it worked. No manual. You can print one off online, I guess. I didnt get to play around with it yet.
So…not totally sold on that feature but I like the rest of the oven! Lol.

I have one. Samsung. I was so excited for that feature. I used it once. My ninja airfryer works better and way easier to clean.
