I've had a thought about the phone calls that Pres, although not at the time Pres, called Hunter, his friends and assorted business partners. I would think if you have had a child, even adult, with major addiction issues you might call all those people, including Hunter, to just check in... Like How are you doing? type inquiries...
I would and have in the past checked in with my child who was have issues, not drugs, but other issues ... That's what parents and friends do!!!
