Hello scrappy friends!
I've been using the heck out of some double-sided adhesive. It's great...but my scissors' blades are getting stuck to each other as a result of cutting so much of it.
What's your tried and true way to get the adhesive off of the blades?
Thanks!

I use Undo to remove the adhesive! Also, I find the Tim Holtz red handled scissors are remarkably non-stick.

Y'know, craftymom101, I've been thinking that I might try Undu! I'll have to take a look at those scissors too. The folks are always looking for Christmas ideas. Thank you!

rymeswithpurple, I just use alcohol to wipe off the blades. I have a pair of small non-stick scissors somewhere that worked pretty well but can't lay my hands on them right now so I don't know what brand they are.

hoopsfn Thanks! I read that online, but wasn't sure how effective it was. Good to know of so many choices.

While I use non-stick EK Success Cutter Bee scissors (purchased over a decade ago before the company was acquired by American Crafts), consider carefully applying Goo Gone, Un-du, or rubbing alcohol to the blades with a cotton ball or round. Please be careful not to cut yourself (or leave residue on the scissors)! HTH

Alcohol wipes work well to get the adhesive off the scissors for me.

pantsonfire Is there anything Dawn CAN'T do? PaperAngel Thanks! They're sharp little Cricut scissors, so they've definitely got a good point to them. jediannie Thank you! riversong1963 After reading all of these comments, I may need to look into non-stick scissors.

I bought a box of medical adhesive remover pads. I used to use them when I worked in a hospital. I like that they are portable. That reminded me. When my dad was in the hospital a nurse used hand sanitizer to help remove the sticky goo from some medical tape. Guess that is where the alcohol comes in.
