Dinner tonight is my pick and I went with Thai. We are all getting the same fried rice dish, one with chicken and 2 with shrimp. Plus crab wontons of course! We will have that for 2 days

Tearisci yay! I'm so glad that it has settled. It's a shame it's not as much as you were hoping for, but you must be so pleased/relieved that it's over. jeremysgirl I'm so sorry about Amelia. She was lucky to have had two such wonderful humans as you and Jeremy to be her family. scrapmaven and scrappintoee , what are we going to do with the two of you? It's so unfair that two of the sweetest people I've "known" have to go through so much pain and so many health issues.

jeremysgirl and Jeremy I am so sorry for your loss. Reading your story made me cry. scrapmaven I'm glad you are going home today. destined2bmom hope your back pain gets better. Quiet day here today. I started cleaning out my fling cabinet and realized that I needed new hanging files. Will finish that project when Amazon delivers next week. We are going out for dinner with my mother and sister. Have no idea where we are going.

I'm not sure if I mentioned that a couple of weeks ago, a colleague had a heart attack - his second! - and he's only my age! He works in a different part of the business, but I am really the only person who has the knowledge to do a particular part of his job. So for the last two weeks, I've been doing my job, part of his job, and also training our new starter. It's been...... a lot. I was working until 8pm last night (Friday). Meanwhile, DSO trotted off to a Sri Lankan restaurant with his mate for an early dinner. I rummaged through the freezer and found a cheese and spinach pastry.

I had a sticker to show where to point where the lump was. It was nothing but I had a sticker for that.

The stickers are to help prevent any confusion on the part of the film reader and to mark location.
I’ve always had them placed. I’m going to ask my sisters if they get them too. I just assumed everyone did.

scrappintoee, DD didn’t drive out to Texas. She drove to the Bay Area from far Northern California (where she lives) to meet the rescue transport people. They were a young couple who do this for a living, I guess. Sometimes they transfer the pets when people are moving out of state. Anyway, they dropped off a rescue in Arizona, another one in Los Angeles, and then drove up to the Bay Area for us. destined2bmom, she still thinks one of the dogs will be rehomed, but I kind of doubt it. 🙄 Tearisci, I like Olive Garden soup and salad! Also, I’m glad your mediation is wrapped up, and you’re satisfied, if not thrilled, with the results. scrapmaven, glad you’re headed home, but sorry about the results. Is IV nutrition the next step?

After many years my team has concluded that my body is allergic to tubes. So, it has been pulled for good and now I am back to square one. I'm shaking my head and back on the roller coaster called my health. Ugh, I'm so sorry. I know you can't have PICC lines or long-term ports anymore, so will you have daily nurse visits for peripheral IV hydration? HUGE (( hugs )) !!!
I emailed him after reading his first Andy Carpenter book and he's been sending me emails about upcoming books for years. I told him if my husband and I knew about the trip across country to relocate with all the dogs, we would have volunteered to go along. It's a wonderful read. Oh how fun that he emails you! And it would have been sooo cool if you and Mr. Doodle could have been involved in the relocation! I’m home hoping to nap. Everything went as planned. Now just wait on biopsy results I'm glad it went smoothly! Positive thoughts for the biopsy results! So for the last two weeks, I've been doing my job, part of his job, and also training our new starter. It's been...... a lot Ugh....sounds like you deserve a VACATION...or at least, a 5-day weekend! Glad your co-worker has survived TWICE! It's scary how young some people die of heart attacks ( my sweet nephew was only 39). It kills me is that he'd been having palpitations, and had an appt. with a cardiologist a week after he died. If only.... The stickers are to help prevent any confusion on the part of the film reader and to mark location Thank you for answering, since many others haven't had them, I was about to google. DD didn’t drive out to Texas. She drove to the Bay Area from far Northern California Ooops...did I make a huge type-o? (I'm too tired to check my posts). I didn't think she drove to Texas, I remember you saying it was about 4 hours, and that it was in California.

I suggested going out and DH doesn’t want to deal with hearing about my back. You would think after 32 years; he would love to hear about it. Sorry you're in so much pain! Yesterday, my healed fracture was killing me, and I had two headaches just to make it more fun. I wanted to give my (very ! ) dear hubby a break by not venting, but he could tell by my scary facial expressions, and that I kept replenishing my ice packs. I just heard that my mediation case settled! it's not as much as I wanted but it was a good compromise! Great news! Treat yourself to some tiramisu or that yummy lemon raspberry cake at Olive Garden! I hope the tragedy you went through isn't still causing you physical pain. I always encourage people to have an advocate when they're in the hospital (or in my Dad's case, every doctors' appointment). But sadly, not everyone has a spouse, family member, or friend to do that. I'm so glad your sister took such meticulous notes. I've been with loved ones in the hospital, and watched everything very closely (especially the shady / newly-graduated nurses!)

so hugs and good thoughts for everyone!!! so much going on.
last night we had dinner at a nearby place where my son used to work--it is truly a farm to table place.. the owner/chef could tell you about every ingredient.
every bite was a treat--lots of complex flavors, generous helpings.. and crafted drinks...
it was really very very special food. and the service was lovely too. very pricey. I had chicken breast/leg, with brussel sprouts and onions. fruit for dessert.
today, we spent the day bar hopping.. and met one of my daughter in law's dear friends. did a little shopping and had breakfast at the second oldest bar in town, then salad at another place --the oldest bar in town, and ended up at a super casual place down by the potomac river. after that no one was hungry.. they had nachos at the last place.. but I was drinking water all day and had very light food.. so I went over to whole foods across the street and got mandarins and a salad for dinner.
tomorrow.. off to my daughter in law's home town and lunch with her parents and dinner with her brother.

ntsf...I've enjoyed reading all the places you've been visiting! Especially the Library of Congress and The Capitol. I'll never think of it the same since January 6th Old Ebbitt Grill is definitely noteworthy, but I don't think we ever went. Have you toured Georgetown? I have many very happy memories of when my Dad lived there with his second wife. There is sooo much to see and do in DC, and I didn't realize how much I took it for granted until I moved away. Very sad I don't have family there anymore. I used to LOVE flying into Reagan, so excited to see family and the awesome view of the city from the plane.

cadoodlebug cute meme! jeremysgirl just saw your posts. I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to Amelia. What a wonderful dog. Our furry family are precious gifts. Sending you both hugs. scrappintoee I'm sorry you are dealing with so much pain. ((HUGS)) I didn't get any stickers today but have in the past. lucyg I think we need a picture of those puppies! scrapmaven I'm sorry to hear that!! I wonder what the tubes were made of? Someone was just telling me that the replacement for latex products are causing allergies in some people. I'm allergic to all adhesive in bandages, etc which is a pain. destined2bmom I didn't know prednisone was used for pain. I hope it works for you. teddyw praying for your test results ntsf I'm glad you made it to the Library of Congress. My favorite! Today I had my mammogram, and no stickers for a former biopsy this time but did have one in the past. Then DH and I went out for Dim Sum. I did lots of online Christmas shopping and am almost done. Just a few more items to go.
