Let's not get too excited about the Republicans doing the right thing. There are 221 of them, and with 105 voting to expel, that means upwards of 116 voted NOT to expel. And beyond that, I heard the top 4 Republicans in the House were actively trying to keep him there. 116 Republicans who want his vote and don't want him to talk. He is a loose cannon and who knows what he will say about his former colleagues now that he has been expelled.

Awesome job expelling George Santos. Truly, it was the right thing to do. The democrats need to follow and get rid of Menendez, tout suite.
And yet, without recognizing the blazing case of The-Emperor-Has-No-Clothes, they still follow the liar/grifter known as Orange Jesus, like zombie lemmings heading for a cliff. I just can't.

I have been wondering…did he clean out his office ahead of time? Do you think he left anything? Likely they’ll box up any personal items and ship them to him. Lots of corporations do that these days - hey, you’re fired, your office is locked, we’ll send you your stuff. Even back in 1999 I enjoyed the fact that some guy had to collect and ship back to me the box of tampons in my desk drawer. 😂

I doubt he cleaned his office. I really think he thought the vote would go to keep him and he would not be expelled.

Our Company will have someone accompany you back to your desk and watch you get your personal stuff before escorting you out of the building.

In this case he, Santos, walked out of the House Chamber directly to a SUV sitting outside the Capitol.

Merge, thank you for posting. Just sharing here in case anyone doesn't want to click on the twitter link How do you get it to show up now? It won’t do that for me any more. I posted from my Mac book, I’m not sure if it’s the same from a phone. As long as the link starts with twitter, not x, it seems to work

For me, twitter posts don't show immediately on my post, but after a few hours it shows.

FWIW I'm in favor of expelling any public servant who violates ethics rules, regardless of party, from congress right up to the supreme court and presidency. Send a strong message. I wish Clarence Thomas was hearing the drumbeat of impending doom. I have been wondering…did he clean out his office ahead of time? Do you think he left anything? I heard he boxed it up and sent it to the bathroom at Mar-a-Lago. Lol.

Not sure he can file ethics complaints as a NON-member! He forgets his place, rather lack of place!!
Although, if he gets away with it, does that mean we could also file ethics complaints against, gym Jordan, James Comer, Scott Perry and a whole bunch of others?
