I don't use Spotify, but I can guarantee it would've been Taylor Swift.

My top artist was the Goo Goo Dolls and top song was Harmony Hall (Vampire Weekend).
I accept those but the other four of five are kind of weird - I set my playlist on random so obviously, according to the stats anyway, they play some songs more than others. While I definitely like the other four top artists/top songs, they aren't ones I would have expected.

I'm weird when it comes to music... I get stuck on a certain singer and I'll play my favorite songs of that person over and over until I get sick of them. haha
According to Spotify my top artists were:
Bruce Springsteen -- top from him were "Dancing in the Dark" and "My Hometown" Enya -- but only a few of her songs, the top one being "May It Be" Roni Dalumi (an Israeli singer) -- three top songs but I don't know the titles in English Ivri Lider (Israeli singer) -- four top songs from him
I listen to a lot of older protest music from the Days of the Dinosaur, but I guess I didn't put many of those on repeat so their counts didn't go up.

Mine was (annoyingly) used by my teenage son for the first half of the year when he couldn't figure out how to log into his account, used by me to research songs for a Christian camp, and used on a lot of roadtrips by my teenage daughter. Needless to say, my Wrapped was far from accurate as regards the music I chose to listen to. DD's top song was "Beep Beep I'm a Sheep" because she uses it for her alarm!

Mine was weird because I just started using Spotify in September (changed from Apple Music) and I was adding artists and songs etc… so my most listened to artist was the Killers and the song was Mr. Brightside - and I swear I heard it maybe 4 times haha - but it was enough to make it appear like I’m the biggest Killers fan

This year was out of the ordinary for me. Normally my top 5 songs would all be Australian artists and would normally match my top 5 artists. But this year I listened to Daisy Jones and the Six a lot, just after watching the show. So that has really skewed my results. My top genre was still Australian Rock though.

My #5 song is by my favourite artist/band, but it's a song that I have never deliberately chosen to listen to. And I only listened to it seven times. Apparently I have good focus, because I tend to listen to albums all the way through from start to finish. Hey, at least Mr Brightside is a great song! It was the song of the year for my daughter's generation when it came out.

Top artist was the Jonas Brothers! Which completely threw me for a loop because they're not what I regularly listen to but in prep for the 5 albums 1 night tour I was listening to them nonstop for like 3 months straight

Top artist was Jason Isbell followed by Brandi Carlile. Top song was You and Me on the Rock (Brandi) and second was Death Wish (Jason).
I also love 2010s pop punk, so the next two artists were All Time Low and Bayside, and the 5th one was 90s-related - Natalie Merchant. I suspect Tori Amos would have been #6.

I like the song a lot and it reminds me of my daughter’s wedding - when the DJ played that song towards the end of the night, the dance floor was absolutely filled with everyone yelling and screaming it.

What is Spotify? How much does it cost? don, it's a digital music platform that you pay for monthly. I don't know the US price but it's about £6.99 a month here in the UK. About this time of year Spotify let people know info about what artists, songs etc they listened to over the previous 12 months. That info is called Spotify Wrapped. One year my kid was told they had listened to songs from over 35 countries, that will happen if you are a big Eurovision fan! From wiki Spotify offers digital copyright restricted recorded audio content, including more than 100 million songs and five million podcasts, from record labels and media companies.[8] As a freemium service, basic features are free with advertisements and limited control, while additional features, such as offline listening and commercial-free listening, are offered via paid subscriptions. Users can search for music based on artist, album, or genre, and can create, edit, and share playlists.

I mostly use Spotify when I paint so it’s film scores, Broadway, and classical so my list was kind of nerdy. I even got a special message in my wrap up from Andrew Lloyd Weber thanking anyone who listened to his music. In my car I listen to podcasts Hidden Brain and We’re You Raised By Wolves. We listen in the house we use Pandora.

My household boycotts Spotify, but uses YTMusic, who also provides a year-end recap.
My most played artist is Manchester Orchestra, and most played song is Anti-Hero by Taylor Swift.
Other tops are Amanda Shires, The Cure and Nothing More.
