I didn't even recognize my top artist - I listen to Gregorian chant every night for 20 min at bedtime, and I prefer the Schola of the Hofburgkapelle (Vienna). My "top artist" was some other group - probably from a chant playlist. My other top genre was "Deep Latin Christian" which I didn't even know was a thing LOL but sounds about right. I don't know how children's music didn't show up, 'cause I sure do listen to that for school.

I also love 2010s pop punk, so the next two artists were All Time Low and Bayside OMG, you and my daughter would get along so well! They are her favorites as well. Bayside played (with Paramore!) at a local teen center when my dd was in high school. She remains obsessed with them!

These are accurate. I tend to listen to an artist on Spotify by making a playlist of all their music and playing it on shuffle. Attachments:

Bayside isn’t very popular here - I gather they’re an east coast thing - but I heard them in a mix on Spotify and fell in love.

What stood out most to me was I listened to 41 different genres.
I tend to get a few playlists I like (either my own or others) and wear them out. Lol. So, I was a bit surprised that I had that much variety.

Drake wins for the 6th year in a row, but honestly, that's just where Spotify always defaults to.
I love Drake for many reasons, don't get me wrong, but Spotify also added Kanye in my top five but he's probably my top five "instantly hit the next button". Except for Flashing Lights, which I requested to be played a few times and that turned into Kanye being added to just about every suggested play list. And I listen to those playlists Spotify makes for me just about every day while getting ready for work.
My "favorite" songs are really just songs that Spotify added to the beginnings of play lists that I like ok, didn't feel the need to remove, but Drake "Wait For You" and Migos "Stir Fry" aren't really my number 1 and 2.
I'm pretty shocked it didn't put more grunge on my list but maybe that's because I tend to listen to that more on the radio and not as much on Spotify.
Also per Spotify: 3. Best I Ever Had, Drake 4. Truffle Butter, Nikki Minaj/Drake/Lil Wayne 5. Chun Li, Nikki Minaj
I have never once requested 1, 2, 3, or 4. I do admit that #3 cracks me up every time I hear it and #5 does actually make me want to channel my own inner Chun Li.

I don't use Spotify, but my top 5 on Apple Music are:
1. Tears for Fears 2. Dylan LeBlanc 3. Maneskin 4. Kings of Leon 5. Amanda Shires
We see all of these artists in concert this year, so I suspect that is what drove my listening habits. Plus, when my DH are hanging out together in front of our fire pit, he always suggests Tears for Fears, because it's one of the artists we can agree on!
