Such a fun thread! It’s also one of my favorite annual threads as others have mentioned. I just got mine up yesterday because we had new carpet installed in that room on Tuesday. Here’s my traditional tree with vintage and antique ornaments. Some from family (a handful from my grandparents and lots from my parents) and some collected.  And here’s a new tree this year that’s dinosaur themed. Can you tell I have a grandson crazy about dinosaurs? Lol. He, his little brother, and his mom will be with us for his whole winter break from school so I wanted a special tree just to make them smile. Their daddy (my son) has been deployed since July.  I still have one more going in another room that’s travel themed. It’s a pencil tree and I leave it decorated. I just wrap it for its trip to the basement for storage. I’ll start on that room tomorrow. Oh and here’s my mantel with all the stockings and my “reprobate” Santas as my husband calls them. I’m partial to shabby old vintage Santas.  |

bklyngal62 I love your skinny reindeer! I might have a few sets around my house but am always looking for more, I can’t help it I’m drawn to them! Spongemom Scrappants Your vintage tree is lovely, and the topper is perfect with it. I’m sure your family will go nuts over the tree, you’ll have to keep us updated. Did you cross-stitch all of those stockings?

jeremysgirl ds loves trains. We do Day Out With Thomas every year as well as Dinosaur Train at the southern Ca Railway Museum in Perris. We do Train Days at our local museum where clubs set up train displays. He has a ton kf Thomas and friends sets and trains. This Polar Express Train. Pmays with my dad's trains. Has trains movies. Santa is bringing him a Grinch Train set. Does he have a conductor’s outfit and/or hat? All serious train aficionados need one! |

I do three trees  Here is our main tree that sits in the front window (and serves as our lights on the house lol). This year I tried the cluster thing that is all over TikTok - the front looks like it wraps around, but from the window side there are a few clusters hanging and that's all the ornaments I had!  This is the tree that is on the landing going upstairs. The tree was naked for a good week before adding any ornaments - Murphy likes to lay there beside it. It is tied to the railing behind it just in case! But it holds my Disney & Rae Dunn collection:  And the final tree sits beside our tv in the room we spend the most time in. It holds my Hallmark Father Christmas series in memory of my Dad. One for his last Christmas with us (first of the series) and one for every Christmas he has been gone...  |

Merge thats usually the way I go with my tree too. I love to look around it and remember all the stories behind the ornaments. I'm sure yours is full of memories too.

cakediva I love the tree with the wrap around ornaments and ribbon. Such a neat look. It was easy to do - just time consuming. I sat and made all the clusters first (5-6 ornaments in a bunch) and then took them all over to the tree and started adding them. I'd love to get more ornaments to really fill it out next year! |

![]() Mine is still a work in progress. Had to move everything off the bottom because my pups (3 dachshunds) had a field day. Had to get a box for the tree skirt because the pups thought the skirt was a chew blanket. Still trying to pretty it up. This is only my 2nd year in this house with all new christmas stuff so it'll be my little work in progress. I don't like the garland on top of my little electric fireplace but haven't figured out another way to do it.   |

   This is the first year since I split with my ex I’ve done an actual tree, since I’ll be home to see it this year. It’s my colorful Mexican tree to go with my colorful Mexican house! I love seeing everyone’s trees, thank you! |

We have a gold, silver, and crystal tree in the living room and a miscellaneous tree in the family room with our family ornaments, even the one the kids made in elementary school. I haven't found a good topper for the family room one yet.   |
