As the mother of two deployed sailors, you can guess who I'm pulling for today.
During the national anthem before the game, there was a live shot from one son's ship. That made me smile.
Neither will be home for Christmas this year but we'll make it up to them when they do get home. We joke that we'll have a family get-together when the Navy assigns us one! Lol.

Go Navy! We unexpectedly had my sailor home for three days at Thanksgiving, it was wonderful. He won’t be home for Christmas so it was an extra blessing. He’s in Boston at the game today! 💙💛⚓️

Gosh, been there, done that! Mine is a recruiter now. We get him home for 2 weeks beginning next Saturday. A first, I believe. We had Christmas, birthday and Thanksgiving all during one week a few years ago.
Not watching the game. DH just called to ask me if I was. He's out getting his lunch and me a coke. I'll pop over in a bit.

Navy clearly has the edge here so far with people cheering for them. If only the team was having a better game. Hopefully, they'll come back from halftime ready to score and win.

2 sons, a brother and a nephew served in the Navy.......what choice do I have?
I have a nephew and his wife who both are West Point graduates....
Luckily none of them live in the same area.

I was born and raised in the Annapolis area, DH was in the Army. Army-Navy games were always fun in this house.

My ex-husband and oldest son were both in the Navy, but my middle son graduated from West Point (Class of 2016),so I always cheer for Army.
