I want to order one of these photo ornaments for my mom with a photo of her mom, who died in July. I can’t decide if I should use a photo of grandma when she was young (I have two without dates but they are black and white and could have been when she was early 20’s or so) or one that was more recent (within the last 10 years). I like the nostalgia of the older photo but I personally do not remember her looking like that. So, I don’t know which my mom would prefer? What do you think?

Also, has anyone ordered one of these? I’ve seen a few ads now and one place seems to have the same ornaments and even shows the same photo. But the prices are half of the sale price. Which one is legit?

But I like the idea of the older photo, it seems to fit the looking into a glass to see it.

Maybe use that one instead? My most favorite picture of my grandma is her holding my niece.

Can I suggest you use the best quality photo you have. A lot of clarity can be lost when these companies size the photo for the ornament. I did one for my daughter in law a few years ago - not the same as your choice, which is lovely btw - and iirc I used a photo that was online and uploaded it as I couldn’t find the original. It was very well received but I was disappointed that the image wasn’t as clear as I’d hoped.
