Dh and I are wanting to get a fancy coffee maker. Not too hard to use or figure out. Want a frother to make lattes and cappuccino. With easy to get coffee and supplies. Oh and nothing over say $250. What do you all suggest? Tia.

I have a Cuisinart coffee maker that is single serve woth a 72-ounce reservoir.
I then have a handheld frother by Zulay.
Easy to use, I buy my own coffee and use the k-cup insert that came with it, and froth my own milk.
I get the same results as the super pricy fancy coffee makers that have learning curves.
Those will also be $350+.

We're on our third Nespresso machine and love it. Simple to make single cups and ours has a built in milk frother, so we can make espresso, lungo and ristretto without milk and cappuccino, latter macchiato, flat white and hot milk with the frother added. There a so many different varieties of capsules you can get - we got a mixed box with our first machine which helped us decide on some initial favorites. We always try new varieties when we buy instore, but we can also order capsules online.

I still love my Nespresso and wouldn’t have any other. . The coffee in their pods is so much better than anything I've ever found in a Kuerig pod. If you are wanting to make fancy drinks, then look at the Nespresso Vertuo machines. Another option that includes the milk frother would be the De'Longhi Dedica machines

DH has a keurig and says he only keeps a box of twelve about two weeks because they don’t stay as fresh. He sneaks in to use my Nespresso at times because I have a huge variety!

A Nespresso double espresso latte has been my treat every morning for 5 years. Over the past 30 years, I migrated from a French press to a Moka Pot with a manual milk frother and now have a Nespresso Creatista Plus, which I love so much.

Nespresso machines are spendy but i think you can find basic ones on sale all the time. worth every penny. We have a Lattissima Pro that was $600+ when we got it 6 years ago and it still works great to this day. I think the current version is called a Gran Lattissima. My niece bought one of the basic models on sale for under $200 and loves it.

I have the Keurig that has the frother on the side. It works really well. I don't drink coffee much anymore but it is still nice to have.

I have been a Keurig gal since they came out. But last last few have soured me on them. I went through 3 in very short succession. Each one replaced by warranty, but what a pain. I switched to a Ninja Dual Brew and I LOVE it so much! It can do a lot of things, but I admit I pretty much only use the KCups. But you can also easily switch to grounds. It also has a hot water features, which all the machines can pretty much do, but this one can do up 60 ounces at a time! It can do Hot or Boil, so if you need really hot water fast - it's great. It has a frother, but I don't use it. It's $179.99 if you use the code DEC22 (until December 14), but I paid $140 for mine a few months ago. Amazon and Target have it for $179.99 also. It has the multi-stream brew for KCups that make them taste so much better. Which is what I liked the KSupreme for -but damn, it would take month to burn out a machine. We love iced tea made with it. I use TAZO black tea KCups and just brew a 12 ounce and sometimes brew another small brew off the same cup, into the carafe, then I pour over ice in a pitcher. Best iced tea!! Ninja Dual BrewI really wanted to get a Nespresso machine, but still love my Ninja Dual Brew, so I got the Essenza Mini. LOVE IT! It's tiny, so it doesn't take up much counter space, and if you wanted to put it away in a cabinet, you could easily. It is super simple to use. I mostly make latte's with it. Nespresso EssenzaThis milk frother is great, and not so expensive as some. It does 2 types of hot froth, one really frothy, one light froth, it also has just a heat selection, for lattes, and a cold froth. It really works great! I've had mine a few years. Miroco Frother

My mum has a Nespresso machine, and as far as pod machines go, it’s very good.
However.
Pods do not equal fancy to me, but I fully admit that I am a complete coffee snob. I have not yet found a pod that I have enjoyed as much as my machine that uses coffee beans. I even tried the pod version of the beans that I buy, but it was nowhere near as good as the freshly ground beans. Mum got a Nespresso variety pack with lots of different pods to try. I prefer the stronger ones, so anything that is a 12 or 13 or 14.

sueg , katiekaty - What are some of your favorite Nespresso pod flavors? We change up a lot, and try out new varieties when they are released, but Napoli and Volutto have been long time favourites. We are currently also enjoying Stockholm lungo and Shanghai lungo. I also like the flavoured coffees - Vaniglia and Caramello are year round and this year's Christmas flavours are yum - Seasonal Delight Spice and Frosted Caramel Nut. I am drinking a Seasonal Delight for my breakfast coffee right now. A lot depends on how you like your coffee - do you drink your coffee black or with milk? How strong a blend do you prefer? DH likes stronger blends - he has intensity 10 - 12, while I tend to stick to intensity 6 - 8.

I have a basic Nespresso that I use for espresso and lattes. I love, love it. I don’t use fancy flavors, just the basic coffee.

Those will also be $350+. I use a separate frother for the milk too. I tried a friend’s expensive machine and made a mess with the milk spraying out of the container. I bought a cheap frothing thing that heated the milk and created the foam at the same time. It was also great for making creamy hot chocolate. Instead of a hand unit, this looked like a mini blender that you added the milk to. It was apparently great for making pudding, but I never tried that. I have a Nespresso machine for the coffee. Back then, you had to order the coffee pods from Italy, but now you can get them on Amazon. My Nespresso is a very basic unit just for espressos.
