At first, it was just Suave, then VO5, then Head and Shoulders (the anti-itch one) and now I'm using some "sulfate free" coconut one, and have a rash on my neck... before my head was just itchy. It's annoying. Maybe I should just shave my head and not need to use shampoo. Anyone else? I am also allergic to sunscreen (except the zinc oxide kind), body spray/perfumes, and some lotions. No food allergies though

Check for panthenol. That’s in lots of shampoos and I’m sensitive to it. Cannot use VO5 or tresseme or a few other brands. I can use garnier.

My husband is. He can use only one brand. Its called Vani Cream. It has moisturizers, other types of skin care. You can find it in regular drug stores.
Eta...I mean they have quite a few different products. Not a bunch of shampoos. There's only one shampoo and one conditioner. I realized my reply might have been confusing.

I am allergic to most fragrances, so much so that other peoples’ deodorants, shampoos, etc can trigger allergy symptoms.
You may be too and are getting more and more sensitized as you keep using it.
Really, for me it’s synthetic grape oil, which is an essential oil used as a base for many fragrances. Even unscented items can have a masking fragrance. It’s cheap but it’s found in cheap to high end products.
Find a fragrance-free shampoo and soap. Dove has a terrific soap. It’s harder to find fragrance free shampoos and lotions. Vanicream makes some.
Good luck.

My daughter uses aveeno. She is OK with that, but it was a trial and error process until we found one. She was also referred to a dermatologist.

Put me on the list too. I can not have sulfates it affected all body products at once. Deodorant, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, contact lenses all if it.
However, you could also be having a reaction to a water additive in your water. If you eliminate everything else then that might be your issue.
Perhaps a visit to an allergist to determine which things you are sensitive to?

Yes to all the above brands during pandemic. All over body hives. It was horrible. I have started using some of the shampoo/conditioners again, especially V05. I love their Balsam shampoo. It took me three years to stop breaking out in hives. No, it was not Covid. I didn't get my first Covid infection until this year. I do think it is perimenopause related. This is a common symptom of peri. I also think it was stress.
During my outbreaks I used baby shampoo, Aloe Vera gel, Vanicream, Dove Conditioner, Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash, Dove Sensitive Soap

I have a sensitivity to SLS in shampoo, toothpaste and other products. It makes me breakout or get sores on my scalp and around my mouth.

My brother is allergic to polyethylene glycol and that stuff is in all kinds of soaps, shampoos, conditioners, etc. It’s even in certain foods. He was getting this horrible rash that just wouldn’t clear up. After spending countless weeks on various antibiotics with no relief, someone finally thought to do an allergy test and that’s what was causing the problem. Now he has to go through all the ingredients on everything he uses or consumes because even the smallest amount will cause him to break out in a rash that takes weeks to go away.
