Has anyone tried this? It’s supposed to come out of the microwave crispy, and I hope it is. I bought a package today that I will try for my lunch on Thursday (I have leftovers I need to use up tomorrow).
If this works as advertised, it will be a lot nchtime game changer for me! Grilled cheese and tomato soup is one of my favorite lunches, but it isn’t generally something you can pack.
We don’t have many options for lunch within easy and safe walking distance of my office (in part because we f the road construction on the street that runs in front of my building). I’m just so bored of all the lunches I’ve been taking. Ugh!

Please update with how it tastes. It’s a favorite of mine as well, but impossible to bring from home

Costco had something like that.. you put it in the toaster.. I was all excited for it for something different in my lunch.. but for me it was a fail. It just wasn't 'right'.

Could you use one of the mini sandwich-panini makers at work? If you brought bread, cheese and a mini container of butter......you could quickly assemble it, then toast it....in a few minutes. Wipe the mini grill off with a wet paper towel, then let it cool off while you ate. Then put the mini grill back in your desk, locker, tote bag, etc...

Are you talking about the Lily’s ones? If so they are legit… but you have to microwave them to defrost first and then toast them to get them crispy.

The brand Dash makes the cutest mini appliances that work great, and they do have a pocket sandwich maker for like $15. I bet that would work better than trying to hassle a microwaveable grill cheese.

I got the grilled cheese at starbucks, brought it home and heated it in a pan to get it hotter and crispier. Delish!

Costco had something like that.. you put it in the toaster.. I was all excited for it for something different in my lunch.. but for me it was a fail. It just wasn't 'right'. I sampled one of those a couple of times and I thought they were really good, but the lady was making them in a toaster oven or air fryer so maybe that makes a difference? I can’t get past the $10 price tag for frozen grilled cheese sandwiches when I can buy a huge brick of Kraft slices and a couple whole loaves of bread for about $5 more, so I never buy them.
