I’m going to do OLW. I’m still debating on the class but leaning more and more to doing it. I’ll also do Journal Your Christmas. I’d like to get a baby book done for my godson. He turns 1 in March so I think his mom (my sister) would love it. Aside from that, I’m not sure what else I’ll be doing. 12x12’s for sure. Maybe revive my YouTube channel. We'll see what inspiration strikes.

In 2023 I did a lot of card making but very little scrapbooking and I've been missing it. Next year I'd like to focus on:
-- 12x12 scrapbooking -- 12x12 pocket page for a month-in-review type layout -- 6x8 vacation albums. I currently have two in progress and have at least one more I'd like to complete -- online content - I have a lot of classes that are unfinished or not started at all that I want to do -- use speciality tools/techniques to make DIY supplies for use at another time (embossing, foiling, stencils, etc.) -- 2peas quarterly card exchanges -- make cards for donation

OLW - I will choose a word and maybe do a layout or two, either TN or 6x8, to put with my previous words, and maybe a card in my PL. I’m not doing the class…it’s too angsty for me.
PL - I plan to do this and hopefully be more consistent.
JYC/DD - absolutely!
I’d like to do an All About Me album during my birthday month.
Other projects: I want to finish my JYC/DD for 2022 and 2023
Finish a trip album
Senior Memories album for my son
And then other random scrapbooking and projects as I go.
Not sure about WITL or DITL. Probably not.

I want to finish my PL for this year and see if the 9x12 size worked ok for me before I decide what size I want to do for 2024. I have done 12x12 in previous years. But I thought maybe 9x12 would be better. I will omit October and December because I did OD and DD.
I enjoyed very much OD. This was my first year doing it. I thought it was really good/healthy for me to plan so many fun events during that month when Esther's birthday can really get me down. My mood went up and down and you can see that in my album. But it was a really good month, IMO. So I might plan more fun things next year too and end up doing that project again.
I will do DD again too. I have only done this project since 2021. But it feels really good to me.
I doubt I will do WITL. I have all the 2022 supplies to actually do it. But I haven't been able to get myself motivated for it. I'm still deciding what else I can do with the supplies. Either that or maybe I will change my mind.
OLW is out for me. I fell off that wagon last year. I did live my word this year. And so it is possible I might pick another word. But it won't be an actual project.

Excited to finish 2023 PL and start 2024. Just need to work on December. My PL took up 2 albums this year, my goal is to try and keep it to one album in 2024.
Finish my dd’s high school album. I was doing really well because I love her senior pictures, need to focus on soph/jr years.
I would also like to dig into the ziplocs of memorabilia I have saved and see if anything inspires me to make a mini album. Maybe when dh and I were dating, or trips we’d taken during my scrapping hiatus.

- I want to work on being more mindful of class/community content before I dive in to participate. I have way too many unfinished layouts sitting in my stash for over a decade 😳 because I followed along with something.
- I also want to work on less photo centric layouts. This may seem antithetical to scrapbooking, but I want to transition to more of a photo journal made with scrapbook supplies (to use up my stash).
- I want to go through layouts I made for design teams, etc. that feature people who aren’t part of my story.
There were times I asked friends for permission to use pictures of someone doing something because it matched a theme for an assignment. I love some of those layouts and I want to make them into meaningful pages.
I think photographing them and incorporating a hidden tag with the original journaling and a note on why I updated the layout honors the original layout without dedicating my limited space towards a story that isn’t meaningful to me.

Goals for 2024 - Finish year book 2023. I have three months to go.
- Try to keep current on year book 2024
- Work on older years. The dream is to have every year of my daughters life documented in a monthly book. That means doing 2016 (pregnant), 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. I feel like I should be able to get 2 years done. I will be happy to do one. Scratch that. I will be happy to start.
- Travel book for Belize trip from 2008.
- Not buy digital supplies. I don't use them in my year book and rarely make other pages. The time spent shopping could be use to do pages.
- Use digital supplies I already have for fun pages. Shannan Pages prompts will be a good starting place.
- A book of 10 things I love about my dog.
- I bought an alpha stamp and two notebooks from Kerri Bradford. I don't want to make a goal about it. I just want to have fun.

1/8 done and progress on 3 others. How is everyone doing on their projects for the year?

- 2peas card exchanges (x2)
- finished an "in progress" 6x8 vacation album. I ended up putting it into 2 double-sided 12x12 pocket pages, but the trip is documented and done.
- For a different trip I have all the photos printed and separated into pocket protectors ready to be made into layouts. It will take a while to get through them all but I'm happy to have someplace start.
I still haven't done much scrapbooking this year. I'm doing an online scrapbooking event next weekend so I'm hoping it gives me a push to keep the momentum going.
