Does anyone have a simple way of using a gift bag with the tissue paper to make it nice?

I hold the tissue in the middle with my fingers (making a pointed end) and kind of *shake* it. I put 3 or so in the gift bag with the pointed end into the bag. Does that make any sense? Is that what you needed to know?

I do it the same way. Sometimes I’ll wrap the gift in the bag in tissue paper and tape the pointed ends to it so they stay put better. I’ve also taped them to the sides or bottom of the bag. Typically only do this when traveling with them.

I have a really huge bag. Three papers isn't going to cut it.

Is that what you needed to know? I do this too. I also some a Reel that showed the person pulling the end of the bag ribbon through to the other side of the bag on both ends of the ribbon so you don't have to put tissue in at all to keep it closed. Haven't tried it, and I know it won't work for some bags, but like the idea behind it.

Not sure if this will help but I saw a cute hack.
Instead of regular tissue paper you use pretty printed paper napkins and separate them. You know the pretty kind like what is that one brand…Caspari or something like that. The kind crafters like to fussy cut and decoupage with.

You can see that I pulled the little metal pieces from inside the bag (handle end) across through to the other side and out the hole. It does work, but opening the bag might be a challenge!

View AttachmentThank you! The ones I get usually have ribbon that’s knotted and I was trying to imagine. But this makes perfect sense.

What I do is take the tissue and fold it kind of on a diagonal so the four corners make four points all on one side. I pinch/grab the center of the folded edge and kind of gently pull the tissue through my hand so all the points are now loosely together. Shove the pinched end into the bag around the gift so all the points are fluffed out at the top of the bag. Repeat with 2-3 alternating colors of tissue that coordinate with the colors on the bag.

Is that what you needed to know? If I am in a boujee mood ... I iron my tissue paper. LOL It really looks nice. Doesn't always happen, but if I have time I do that.
