I really like Birthday Bash! I think it can work for all sorts of birthdays, but especially masculine birthdays! I don't care for birthday sparkle... not enough contrast, and way too much pink.

In general, I like the idea of "adult" birthday products.
Birthday Bash - dislike the "dude" phrases, but I like the colors and overall theming.
Birthday Sparkle - love the macaron paper! Wish there was more depth to the color palette. Might get some to make cards.

I like the ephemera, but find the Birthday Bash line too dark and the Birthday Sparkle too pink. And, I love pink! I may buy a little for cards.

I'm not really a fan of most birthday lines (except balloon paper, recently I needed all the balloon paper...) and these are not really making me a fan. For some reason birthday lines always seem like they'd be better for cards. I am also still looking for a 'happy birthday to ME' line, manufacturer's are obviously not reading my Pea board posts.
A b-side or two might end up in my cart... but that's about it.

Not sure I need the birthday theming and I hate DUDE but the colours and the B-sides of Birthday Bash mean some will end up on my wishlist

I actually really like Birthday Sparkle and think I will pick some of this up to make cards. I need to knock out some easy birthday cards (my stock is very low and store bought are so expensive). The collection is pretty and would hit the mark with my friend group.

Birthday lines are usually not my thing but that being said...Birthday Bash is awesome! I love the colours and tones. I could see the B sides being very versatile too. A buy for me.

Wow, all the dude phrases are so awkward and forced. It is just not necessary to add the word dude to all them. Also the colors don’t really read as “birthday” to me. I get what they are trying to do but it doesn’t hit the mark for me.

Birthday Bash - Don’t like the dude stuff either. It sounds so juvenile on a collection that is otherwise pretty sophisticated looking for men. I do like the mature color palette and some of the patterns.

Birthday Bash has great colors. The dude part is probably trying to not be too gender specific, but it comes off as too much. I wish they would have used additional words instead of dude. I do hear people use the term dude though.

Impressive that they managed to make gendered birthday kits without using a gender reference in the title.
These may as well have been called Birthday Masculine and Birthday Feminine.
So close but not quite a neutral birthday theme. Pass.

I'm not a fan of the gendered lines and neither of these excite me. I think the green b side on the reverse of the masculine cut apart sheet would be useful but everything else is an easy pass.

Thanks for your responses. Per the collection descriptions, "Birthday Bash/Sparkle is a celebration made for the (adult) guys/gals!" The word "dude" is littered throughout the sticker sheet, ephemera, & stamp set of Bash, while "girl" appears only once (on the sticker sheet) in Sparkle. I like the color palette & most of the non-themed pattern papers in Bash but have similar in my existing inventory. Nothing from this release is added to my wish list.

Birthday Sparkle is OKAY, even though I wouldn’t buy most of it. Way too much pink. Birthday Bash is just way too dark and muted for me.
