I have bought her a few things (not pregnancy related) but, I was trying to think of things she might need during her pregnancy.
She already has a body pillow.
It's been a loooong time since I was pregnant and I know there are new and improved items for mom and baby....I just don't know what they are!!!!

I bought a box on Etsy filled with all sorts of lotions and potions for an expectant daughter in law. I think it had some other things like a tea for nausea, cute mug, some ginger candy, an eye mask and so forth. Everything was packaged neatly and so cute. I couldn’t have found all the products and put them together any cheaper or easier.

A gift card for a pregnancy massage. I loved them when pregnant with a lot of back pain.

I just gave my SIL a gift card to a spa. In the card I told her she could get a prengnancy massage or wait until after the baby is born and go pamper herself, while I watch the baby. She loved it.

Maternity night gown and robe. They are so soft and WAY better than the hospital ones.
She can wear it after to feel nice so it doesn't get dirty with labor.

Another idea us chiropractor gift card. Lots of moms need adjusting after birth when safe to do so. I agree, AND I'd recommend a cranio sacral chiropractor vs. traditional one. DD has been more than once and was very pleased with results. |

I’ll second some nice pajamas in a dark color and non slip slippers or slipper socks to wear in the hospital. The stuff the hospital gives you to wear is nasty.

Last year my daughter was pregnant at Christmas time and requested maternity clothes - she was due in April. My other daughter and I coordinated our Christmas gifts so that she could mix and match outfits. Gap had good sales and really cute jogger outfits. After Christmas when they had a huge sale my daughter bought the additional colors that they had. She wore the jogger pants after she had the baby too.

Just make sure if you get her something like a massage, chiropractor, pedicure it's something she would do. I would never go for a massage or a chiropractor. Yes to a pedicure now, but not back when I was pregnant.

I just posted this idea in another thread. You could save it for a baby shower gift. Congratulations  Google baby monthly milestones. Places like Toys R Us and baby stores carry products such as discs or blocks to put beside the baby (such as one month etc) for monthly pictures. I crocheted a blanket for our Granddaughter’s baby shower and dh made a set of blocks. We had them laser engraved. There were many teary eyes in the room. |

I bought DD & DIL joggers and fleece tops from Athleta. They were very cozy and could be worn both before and after the babies.
