He likes to make things, but really doesn't have a shop yet, and I would have no idea what kind of tools to add to his supply. |

You mentioned the grill. I bought my husband a set of knives for grilling. They come in a nice carrying case. My husband is also impossible to buy for.

I suggested this on a different thread, but these battery jump packs are SO nice to have. You can get different amperage size, depending on your need. The one I have pictured/linked will start normal cars and trucks easily - up to 20 times on one charge! They re-charge fast and also have a flash light and USB chargers in them to charge devices/phones too. You can get smaller amp or different brands for less. My husband has the really big amp ones and he starts tractors with them! But they are small, so you can pop it in your glove box.  Jump Start battery |

Not sure what your price range is, but I got dh a pizza oven for his birthday last year (and then got him some tools and gadgets for Father’s Day).
I got him an Ooni but the other one I looked at was the Gozney Roccbox (which a friend of mine has). They are both great and cook pizza in a few minutes. There are various sizes but I got dh the Ooni Koda 16 but there are several to choose from (sizes and heating sources).
I ordered direct from Ooni but you can get the on Amazon too. Their site is Ooni.com

You don't need another car for a jump start--you just use this. Ours also has the ability to charge a cell phone several times, which it looks like this does as well. Once every year or tow, you need to recharge them and then they are good to go again. |

We have a Pit Boss, not a Traeger, but the one thing I bought for it that is fabulous is a snuggie (not the name for it, but it is an insulated cover that helps keep the heat in while using in colder weather. Im sure Traeger probably makes one as well.

I got my husband a reflector jacket. I’ve had one for walking dogs in the dark and am glad to have it. I got to thinking that he’d probably like one too.

If you get the smoker, he might need a man sized set of oven mitts. Mine is constantly complaining that my mini mitts are too small for his bear paws. Another helpful thing is a big wooden cutting board with the groove around the edge to catch liquids that come off of whatever you grilled.

Since he likes grilling, does he have a thermometer he loves? Thermapens are great. Or you good look for thermometers that can be monitored remotely. Some flavored grilling planks would make great stocking stuffers. A grill basket for grilling vegetables. A salt plank. A good grill light. Does he have bear paws for shredding his slabs of meat? DH was thrilled when mom got him a monogrammed steak brand. Some sports teams have them available as well. |

A Meater thermometer for grilling.
Dh is working from home and living in joggers, a light weight vest and Seahawks shirts. I bought him some new items in each of those categories.

I bought him grill tools a couple of Christmases ago. I honestly don’t remember what came in the set. I bought it on clearance at Costco several months ago and it’s wrapped so I can’t look. I think it had 5 knives, fork and then the case. Someone else mentioned the cuisinart grilling trays. Large sturdy trays are really important we have some we bought at IKEA more than ten years ago. He uses two when he smokes pork butts. Claws for pulling pork are also essential if he smokes pork and makes pulled meats. They are easier than using forks. |

Not sure if they make something like this for a traeger but my husband has this thing called a flame boss for his big green egg and it’s made his life easier especially for really long smokes overnight. It has a fan to help control the temp and has multiple probes for checking the temp of the meat as well as alerting you to the temp inside your smoker. You can monitor it on your phone and it can alert you to temp drops and such. At least once before he got this the fire had gone out and he didn’t know as soon as he would if he had this.

My husband loves beef jerky from a specific place (we used to drive by it on the way to sequoia). He didn’t place an order this year, so I’m surprising him with a large order.
He went to a concert with me this year and really enjoyed the popcorn he bought. I got him some of that popcorn.
I take pictures of things he points out, because he rarely shows interest in anything.
I also for him some of his favorite see’s lollipops today.
