Hi all -
I have a small stockpile of sb . com Magic Mats as “free with purchases” - besides in a die cutting machines any creative uses for these you have found? I feel like there must be something else they can do, but I am drawing a blank.

I think they’re actually self healing mats. You could use them if you’re cutting paper with a craft knife.
Other than that I’m interested in seeing what other Peas come up with.

I use one as a hot glue pad. I let my got glue gun drip onto it and hot glue over it. Also use it when I am gluing small things to add to a tag, or pocket layout.

Thanks, both - never realized they were self healing, and as a hot glue pad is a good idea.

I bought a two-pack a while back and they are markedly thinner than the sizzix cutting plate, even though they are supposed to be the same, making them useless in my Vagabond. Sb . com refunded me. Now I have a use for them!

i don't own one of these but if they are self healing mats, i have always use similar ones as cutting pads in my manual die cutting machines.
