D it! So perfect. Marion Brooks called off her engagement to Aunt Agnes' cousin and she went to the opening of the Metropolitan Opera House with Larry Russell. I've always thought they looked adorable together. After Oscar lost almost all of Aunt Agnes' money, it turns out that Aunt Ada's deceased husband, Luke, was very rich so now the tables are turned in that household.
Peggy Scott quit her job at the Globe because of her feelings for the married editor.
Jack Treacher got his patent for his alarm clock and Larry Russell is going to go into business with him.
Mrs. Russell won the war of the opera houses against Mrs. Astor and won the war of which house the Duke would attend. Me thinks she persuaded the Duke by promising him her daughter, Gladys.
All in all, a great finale. Hopefully there will be a season 3!
