Ho ho ho Merry-nearly-Christmas! How is everyone feeling? Are you organised and relaxed, or behind schedule and stressed? I'm a little bit of all of the above! One thing I'm fairly sure about is that not too many of us have time to scrap at the moment. Once all the hustle and bustle of Christmas has finished, hopefully we'll find some time to do some scrapping. I have two sketches today. The first one is a one page sketch that I made from a layout by Niki Rowland that I found on the Simple Stories Instagram page. Here is Niki's fun layout: Be MerryThe second sketch is a two page sketch that I made from a layout by Scrapbooking Quebec (Dorothy Guinean) on You Tube. Here is Dorothy's fab layout and process video: Holiday Happiness. I haven't had a chance to do a sample layout for either of they yet - hopefully next week!

AussieMeg, I love that first sketch. I can make that work for 8.5x11 size. Thanks for posting it. Merry Christmas!

My take on the two page sketch. Thanks, AussieMeg . I am feeling pretty rusty putting pages together after my card making marathon and then the Christmas celebrations with no crafting at all... Fan to-do list by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Had to "gut" the CV pp so I could include both the border and the large mat, and I had just two sheets of this one. I subbed a couple of square photos for two of the landscapes in the sketch, but otherwise stuck sort of close to it...

Great page grammadee! I'm happy that you found some time to do some scrapping this week. I had you in mind when I posted the double page sketch, so I am really pleased that you used it. Had to "gut" the CV pp so I could include both the border and the large mat Aaaahhh I remember those days! I used to 'gut' paper all the time. It freaks me out watching process videos where the scrapbookers use a WHOLE piece of patterned paper then slap a big piece of white cardstock on top, just to get a little border. Then use another piece for matting or background blocks or whatever. I guess a lot of them get given the paper for free and can afford to 'waste' it!

Great sketches! I'm going to use that two pager today when I crop later. Free, or it could be that like me, they have so much there isn't a need to gut it, because for someone like me, there's more than could be used in a lifetime still waiting
