My favorite is Honees. I originally found them on the east coast.
I can’t have them anymore, so now my go-to is sugar-free Ricola.

I use Halls in the yellow bag. Honey Lemon. Relief kind. Since they are smaller than they use to be, I use 2 at a time. For double relief. They work for coughs and sore throats.

I’ve had a terrible cough for three weeks, if not longer. I’ve been on prednisone, I have an inhaler and I have a nebulizer. None of it seems to be working and it really is just a cough although I can hear wheezing and little congestion. I don’t feel bad at all. I’m gonna look for those at the store. Thank you I have been to the doctor and I was there about 10 days ago ago after seeing her the week before and she said my lungs sounded much better. It’s just this nasty ass cough.

I have had the best luck with Ricola. Several varieties and strengths to choose from. They also have a sugar free option.

I know this sounds bizarre, but.... chocolate chips. Or the Ghiradelli white baking chips (not chocolate but they taste good and work the same). I suspect any of the chips would work. This has been scientifically proven to work as well as narcotic cough medicine. And I would agree. I've had problems with chronic coughing anytime I get a cold, most of my life. You want to suck on a couple of chips as far back in your mouth as you can every time you feel the tickle. It coats the top of your throat and soothes that coughing reflex. Plus, they taste good! The Ghiradelli are my go-tos, as I get migraines if I eat too much chocolate (well, any chocolate), and I put a whole fistful in a zippy bag, and put the zippy bag in my bed frame bag and just indulge as needed. Another plus is that if you fall asleep with them in your mouth, they won't choke you... they just melt.
I've never eaten so many that I've put on weight, even when I coughed every night for 8 months. So I wouldn't worry about that.

I prefer a hard candy to a cough drop. Lemon, Cherry, and root beer are our favorites

The Mucinex sore throat pain relief Elderberry and wild cherry. They also numb the throat which is a gift.

My DH loves Fishermen’s Friend cough drops.
I’m a cherry Luden’s girl.
My dd likes the Vicks extreme ones but she really loves the tessalon perles

Cherry Ludens is my preference and the ones I use the most. However, when I want to appear to be an adult I use Halls in the yellow bag.

My dad swears by Fisherman’s Friends, but I think they are too strong or maybe just taste like yuk! 😆

My DD takes them and within about a half hour she's got some relief. They work better if you stay on them.

christine58 ~ I prefer Buckley's, however it is only available in Canada. Have you tried Sucrets DM Cough Formula (lozenges)?
