If you got something for a gift from Amazon and have the gift return receipt, when you return it does the buyer know? Are they credited with the money back or does the receiver get an Amazon credit? I could not find the info on the Amazon site, but totally could have missed it.

I would assume you would get the money if you have the gift receipt?

When I have done a return with a gift receipt on Amazon I’ve gotten Amazon credit back and the gift giver isn’t notified.
