I was wondering how everyone stores their oversized printers? I just got one for Christmas, and it’s not going to fit where my previous printer went, so I’m trying to decide where I want to put it. I’m considering getting a small Kallax unit to set it on, but I can’t decide for sure.

I have mine on top of a low bookshelf, so I think a kallax (or equivalent) would work well.

I bought a small sturdy kitchen cart with wheels. It has 2 cubes on the bottom and 4 drawers where I store my ink and paper.

When deciding where to store it keep in mind any space you might need in front or behind it when printing. Also keep in mind easy access to the printer for maintenance and troubleshooting.
I ended up giving mine away due to the large footprint but I stored it on a counter prior. I chose the counter because it was wider than any of the storage furniture I own and provided a substantial base to support the printer securely.

Back when I had a 13 inch wide printer, I had my wide printer and my electronic cutter on wall mounted shelves above my desk. It worked well for me at the time. I lived in a small home, and my craft area was in the master bedroom, so I had very little space.

It's a winner for me. It also rolls which makes it easy to reach no matter where I am working. And I love the printer. It produces great pictures. Oh - and I think it is on sale right now.
