I am considering purchasing a printer in 2024, wondering what ones can print pics from sizes 2x2 or even 2x3 up to a 5x7....I realize that this is a broad range........I usually do a online service for most pics, sizes 4x6, but I want to expand into more sizes....just thinking. Thank you for any input.

I would go with a Canon Pixma photo printer, which can also print on regular paper.
I had an Epson photo printer between my two Pixma's and hated the quality.
The Canon Pixma can print up to 8x10 btw.

I can print up to 5x7 on the Epson PM-400, and using a collage template within the Epson app, print 2x2 as well.

I had an Epson photo printer between my two Pixma's and hated the quality. That's funny because I've tried Pixmas and did not like the quality of those. All my photo printers are Epson and the quality is great and the photos don't fade over the years. The photos I printed from the Pixma a few years ago are all fading and the photos are not in direct sunlight.

Any printer can do this. It depends on the software you are using to send to printers

Thank you ALL for your help.....I am very NOT printer savvy, so I need to read all this stuff. I would like to have the option of printing my own pics at home, as all I have to choose from in my area is either a CVS, a Walgreens or online. TY!

For price, size, convenience and quality I would definitely go with the Epson PM400. I love mine!

Another fan of the Epson PM400. I previously had a Selphie and it was terrible. I had a lot of issues getting it to just stay connected and actually work, and when it did I never got good quality prints. I don't know if it's user error or I had a bad one, but I'm so much happier with the Epson.
For sizes I have used various free collage programs in the past but they're fussy and I would run into issues if I wanted weird sizes or didn't have enough to fill the full print area (I could never figure out how to make whitespace work). So I broke down and bought Adobe Photoshop Elements (I was able to buy it for $100 or $200, no subscription which is becoming so rare). It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to do basic collages, something about the controls just are not intuitive to me but once I made some time to sit down and seek out some basic YouTube videos it became quick and easy. I use it to print photo collages and also I now use it to print random small things on sticker paper with my regular old Brother office printer and that's opened up some fun options for my journaling.

Love my Epson PM400. The Epson Creative Print app is great to make collages of many configurations.

Yep, IMHO the Epson PM 400 is a game changer for printing photos smaller than 6x8.
