Freshly cut pineapple! Blueberries and a handful of granola. Drizzled with honey. I love cottage cheese and treat it like yogurt as far as topping choices - especially for breakfast.
This is the only way I eat cottage cheese. So delish!

I have not, but it’s easy enough to make either in a blender or a food processor. Just blend until it’s as smooth as you like. There’s a jello salad that my grandmother made with cottage cheese, cool whip, sugar free orange jello, and fruit. She would cream the cottage cheese so that it wasn’t lumpy. In the winter, it was mandarin oranges and pineapple. And even fruit cocktail if she was feeling fancy. In the summer, she would add in grapes, strawberries, and blueberries. That’s my favorite jello salad. If you can overlook the cool whip, it’s actually pretty healthy. My MIL had an old Nebraska recipe with cottage cheese, mandarin oranges, pineapple, orange jello, Orange sherbet, and mini marshmallows. It was so refreshing.my mom makes this for easter, it does not have orange sherbert, but rather cool whip instead. We call it orange fluff!

I have to ask -- do you mix the hard boiled eggs in or just eat them both, separately? I always have hard boiled eggs but never have thought to mix the two.

This week, I’m going to try chopping hard boil eggs and pickles, squirting in a little mustard and mixing it all together. I’ll let you know if it’s gross!

I like it with garlic powder & chopped up raw veggies--typically celery, carrots, or zucchini. But I also like it with pineapple chunks because that was my grandmother's lunch every single day, and it's so incredibly nostalgic for me. I love the idea of walnuts & apples, though. I've never tried that, but now I want to do so.

My preferred mix-in is cantaloupe. Peaches are a distant second. When I was a kid, my mom used to serve us a scoop of cottage cheese on a lettuce leaf with half of a canned peach on top. I haven’t had it that way in decades. Usually I liberally sprinkle black pepper on it and eat it like that. We had that too, at dinner as an appetizer. A lettuce leaf, half a peach, glob of cottage cheese and a Maraschino cherry on top. The lettuce on the bottom got all soggy and gross.

Someone I follow on YouTube likes cottage cheese with avocado chunks, hard boiled egg, everything but the bagel seasoning, and a little hot sauce. I don’t really like cottage cheese so haven’t tried it but have been tempted. I tend to just use cottage cheese mixed with my eggs (blend it up first) or in shakes. You can also blend it with frozen fruit.

My DH likes cottage cheese with green onions, salt and pepper.
My favourite way to use cottage cheese is egg bites made with cottage cheese for the protein it adds. In a blender or food processor mix one tub cottage cheese, 6 eggs, 1 cup of shredded cheese, salt, pepper and a dash of hot sauce. Blend until smooth. Pour into buttered muffin cups, top with cooked bacon if you want and bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes. I love these as mini egg bites. They can be kept in the fridge and reheated for a quick breakfast. They can also be frozen.

We used to go out for dinner after church and that was a side at the restaurant we went to. Yum. It was also topped with a half maraschino cherry. Or maybe it was just the cherry. I have had it many times with peaches on top. I like to add some mandarin oranges. That’s my go to these days.

I like cottage cheese mixed with tuna, chopped red bell pepper, corn and a little bit of finely chopped red onion - so good!

Richard Nixon famously put ketchup on his. It sounds gross but we ate it when I was little and it was actually pretty good.
I like Catalina French Dressing on mine. Just a little bit. I remember the peach half, too. It was very good.
Actually, I love cottage cheese as is. A sprinkle of pepper and it is delicious. I like large curd.

I love cottage cheese either sweet or savory!
I do love to mix it with spicy salsa and scoop it up with tortilla chips or plop it on a baked potato.

With berries and some honey. The berries aren't always the sweetest and the honey helps when they're not.

I scoop it with the homemade type tortilla chips from the Mexican market. I know that is not what you are asking for but boy is it good!😁 Yeah, I was thinking Dorito's or cheddar sour cream potato chips!

As a kid my mother put “crushed” jello in with it to sweeten it up. Can’t think of a good word, but mashed up with a fork.
I just eat it plain with salt and pepper on it.
We also do a mix of jello crystals, cool whip and mandarins or other fruits.
