Is anyone doing "One Photo A Day" 2024 this year? I love photo challenges. Are there prompts, or is the challenge simply to take one photo each day?

not I - I relish the days without photos at this point as having too many photos is my current challenge

I generally take more than a photo a day so I'm always doing this challenge. I don't do well with prompts for some reason so I don't follow those but I usually just take a photo of my everyday goings on.

Is there a specific challenge called "One Photo a Day" on a particular site? As I do every year, I am doing P365 or Project Life or whatever you want to call it. So yes, my plan is to take a photo every day, or as close to it as I can manage. I'm not too stressed if I miss a day here or there (as I inevitably will).

I have the 1SE app-where you take a 1 second video every day. If you forget to take video, you can sub a photo, so I do try to do this daily. The app is free, available on both Android and Apple. I pay for the upgraded version, which gives you longer than 1 second videos, and you can make more than one project at a time. I do my "daily" project, and also did a separate one for a vacation in October for example.

I'm on my 3rd year of doing this in the PL app. I don't find the prompts meaningful and usually have no problem having pictures or finding a meaningful random picture to take.

Not officially, but my OLW is record, so I will probably take a daily photo anyway. I have done Project 365 before, and some days I had 10 photos (and could only choose one to represent that day) and other days nothing happened. It was an interesting project. I documented my year in blog form, and never got around to printing the photos/captions or making an album

No, still has the free 1se.co/pro/Over on the far left is the free version and what is provided.

I'm seriously considering it, but it would probably just be 365 photos of my cat.

Does anyone have their cell phone software where you can automatically create a video of your photos? If so, have you used it? I think I may do a cell/computer video scrapbook. It seems easier. Now, I belong to a club where they request a paper scrapbook every year. We also make cards for the military, so I still get my tactile paper touch.

Thanks for reminding me about it! i think i heard that too but i've been using it consistently all these years. i just uploaded to my app yesterday. after all these years, DH is used to me saying "this (insert photo moment) is my Collect for the day". since i heard the rumor of it shutting down, i've been looking for an alternative but i haven't found one. i'm open to suggestions if anyone knows of one. i also tell myself i need to download each month into a photo book in case i can't access the app anymore.

papersilly every time I open the app on my phone it crashes so its not going to work for me oh no! in the 10 years i've been doing it, i've always had the app on my iphone and ipad. it's always been backed up to icloud so when i got new devices, the info just transferred over. now i'm scared of losing the app if it is no long supported or i somehow lose it in the cloud.

papersilly every time I open the app on my phone it crashes so its not going to work for me you had me so freaked out about losing my months that i just took screenshots of 114 months just in case. LOL. someday i will have to get each page so i have the narration too but we're talking almost 3600 screenshots. i guess i could screen shot one month each day. that should only take 4 months. i definitely have to figure out a back up system.

Day One is another app where you can have photos and journaling. I like how it uses the photo meta data to add date,, time and location to your entry if you want.
