I like this sketch even so that there are some small pieces it comes together very fast. I used Mintay's Happy birthday collection. I fussy cut some cut aparts and the paaper with the ephemeras. I like the colors in this collection. http://instagram.com/p/C1mqpIqJIM9

I have a very poor track record with the sketches that call for 3 12x12s. In this case, however, a funny thing happened with the big crafty move: I found the absolutely terrible Annie's Kit Club card kit that was the very first thing I ordered when I decided to start crafting again. Weird 4.25 x 7.5 card bases scored at 2.5 and 6, 6 pieces of single-sided letter size PP, cheap acrylic stamps, and SO MANY die cuts. It was stuck in a storage folder and hidden...somewhere...but now unearthed.
Anyway, I'm attempting to make eight of these with four pieces of the patterned paper and some of the rogue card bases made into the matting layers. Stay tuned!

I love your cards azcrafty I should be making birthday cards for Cards for Cubs soon so I'll give this sketch a go for those. I might change up the papers though and use one sheet for all of the background pieces and see if the smaller pieces can be cut from 6x6 or scraps or something. I have no idea which papers I'll use at this point! Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the CT have done with the sketch.

I tried a similar scheme, joblackford . I forget where it fell down, but it did. I hope you can figure it out where I couldn't.... I finished my set -- I did encouragement cards for Cards for Cubs, although they seem only a little youthful. I guess they say all ages. Anyway, by the time they were done, I had kind of lost the light. Maybe I'll post anyway and replace the photo tomorrow if it looks as bad as I fear it will. Eh, I'll try again tomorrow, but you sort of get the idea. Edited to update photo.

Thank you!
Now I just have to convince myself that I've made far more of that "kit" than I ever expected to and try to let much of what's left go.

I checked the sketch again. You can get 6 of the big pieces from a 12x12, but only 4 of each smaller piece from a 6x6, so you’d need a third if they were double-sided and both sides of at least one of them worked. I couldn’t quite get there.

Thank you joblackford. I'm planning to make a set with all the leftover scraps from Christmas cards making too. Great cards Shakti! You can always add some scraps of solid cardstocks that goes with your color combo.

Using 6x6 paper for the smaller pieces on the sketch I didn't see any value to cutting them at the full 3x4.25 size if the little horizontal strip is covering the gap. By cutting a 2" strip off the bottom and cutting the remaining piece into two 3x4 pieces you can get 2 sets for the PP B and C pieces from each 6x6 paper and the waste piece is a much more usable (to me) 2x6" size. Does that make sense? (there may also be a way to use the waste piece to make more of the small pieces but I haven't gotten that far yet and I think that's where you end up with uneven numbers, may not be worth the bother). SLOC mod by jo.blackford, on Flickr I may use a 12x12 sheet for the background pieces. I can get 6 from one sheet, and the waste pieces can be used inside or put 3 on a card base and add a sentiment in the gap for a super simple card. Something like these, although I think the strips on this paper were narrower because I trimmed them to highlight the full face cats: June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Here are some Hanukkah cards I made with the latest Sheetload sketch. I used 6x6 and scraps so I didn't make the full number but I think they came out OK. I had strip sentiments I thought looked better than a circle, partly because "Happy Hanukkah" doesn't fit very well in a circle. Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Thanks for sharing the SLoC links again, azcrafty. Your cards are really pretty. Love your adaptation, joblackford. Makes we want to pull out some 6x6 pads.

So I am going to make Christmas SLoC every month so I don’t have to worry about cards in December. This set is using some of Paige Evans’ Sugarplum Wishes.

Beautiful cards justjac. I love those pp they are so colorful. I'm going to do the same thing ,make a set with Christmas paper so I have them ready. This year I was so behind with my cards I felt very embarrassed about it 😔.
