I’m considering getting a 42” wide tool chest for my remaining storage in my studio. I still have 4 boxes of stuff. I’ve been mulling over ideas for over a year now. Plus I recently got the glimmer foil plate so I’d also like a work top to put that on & plug it in. A tool bench will provide both drawers & worktop.
In the 4 boxes left 1 box sewing stuff 2 boxes punches 1 box mixed scrap papercraft stuff old swaps, notebooks, etc.
Does anyone have any thoughts? Has anyone used one? Any pictures?

Sounds like that tool chest would hold a lot hop2 . My only thought was a tool chest full of punches would be pretty heavy.

Good point. It’s on wheels so I’m not sure it matters? Certainly not any heavier than tools.
i think I’d only need one box of punches in there I have 4 paper taker brand hanging punch storage pockets ( think heavy duty shoe holder type things ) and 2 of them are the alphabet & the punchkins. I don’t use those often so I’ll probably hang those keepers in my spare room closet. I used them once last year to add the punches to a kit I made up.
So i think all the punches i need access to will fit in the top drawer. If any are too thick to fit in that drawer I can hang 1 storage thing on the side or back. Or use one of the deeper drawers.
Theres one deep drawer that ought to fit nearly all of my sewing stuff
