Let’s use this thread to share our card creations through the entire year! I hope everyone will continue to share. And that those who have not shared, might consider it <hint, hint>. I get a ton of inspiration from photos of other people's cards!
I love seeing everyone’s cards, but I have not been very good about sharing mine. My style is all over the place, and my cards vary from very simple to very showy. I guess I feel like if I show my best work, that it will seem like I am trying to show off, and that isn’t really my intent, but I don’t like to show the cards that I’m less thrilled with, either. I have decided to just group my cards by month, the good and not so good, and show them all, starting with January. However, I am still having issues with links, tagging, etc. (weird things happen, and not just the image), so I will try to put each in a separate post. Most of my cards are not for anyone specific. I like to keep a stash of cards, so that I can pull something appropriate, add a note, sign it, and mail it on short notice. However, the two shaker cards in the January batch are for medical personnel who have helped my husband the most.

The flower cart and envelope box cards were both based on samples that I saw at the Scrappy Boy booth at convention, although I embellished the flower cart with dies from the Scrappy Tails 3D Flower Shop add-on set.

scrapnnana, I would say that the biggest advantage of joining a challenge team for me is that score for sharing my creations! I'm not bragging -- I'm earning points for my team! And, even if I don't think something is my best work, sharing it is earning points for my team! And before I started joining the challenges, I sometimes didn't even take a picture of my work. I'm really enjoying having that record of my progress as a crafter.

Thank you for sharing here, scrapnnana. Your work is lovely! Also it's really nice to have some visuals to put with the brand names you mention, many of which aren't familiar to me.

Scrapnnana, love that you shared so many cards. I am so bad about making fun folds, shakers, and 3D cards so I especially like looking at those. The flower cart in particular speaks to me ❤️

The answer to that question is not simple.
EtA: Without getting into it too deeply, I didn't finish it. I didn't finish the second of four classes. The format was new and different. I know that I will finish it, but I'm not sure when. Possibly very, very slowly over many weekends while mostly taking a break from classes and working on the million ideas I write down and never get to. So clearly part of the problem was being at the end of the seven events in nine weeks or five events in seven weeks or whatever insanity it was I embarked upon this spring.

I like the single-color background better with the bunny. Although on second look, that might be in part because I prefer the tan bunny.
Your critters are adorable! Nice work with the markers.
Dimension might be life, as some say, but variety is the spice of life. It's just as monotonous for everything all the time to be all dimensional as it for everything to be flat all the time.
That Solstice card hits just the right note, imo.

MichyM, I prefer the multi-colored background for the bunny, but I think it’s because the blue behind the white bunny makes him stand out more. All of your critter cards are very cute, and your floral cards are lovely. The last card has a bit of a Scandinavian feel to it, for some reason, and it also turned out great!

Made with last April's HA/Joann kit and Altenew watercolors and dual tip pens. I swear I used the frame and floral to line up the sentiment before stamping, but it sure doesn't look it. Might need to add the infamous somethin' something'.... EtA: Cherry blossoms.

You ladies have been super BUSY! Starting my comments from the top of page THREE: That Pinkfresh event looks like it had some cool products and ideas, MDscrapaholic . I have made a resolution to ignore my FOMO and not sign up for any of these events this year myself, b/c I never end up with the dedicated time on event days, and am often frustrated with all the detail the class work requires. But YOU do a marvelous job with that detail. LOVE the multicoloured citrus elements on your cards. Oh and I love the sentiment on that Gus & Gertie card. So fun! Shakti , your spring exchange cards are super pretty, and they just shout SPRING IS HERE! Love the florals and the cute little birds! And you did a great job colouring that wreath for the Altenew class. See? That is another task I would not have done well on... And I love the different ways you added depth to the two cards posted yesterday. (great colouring there, too). scrapnnana, your January cards are so fun and colourful! Love all the different focal images, each bold and delightful! (Not sure how I would feel about the shaker hypodermic, though...YIKES! But I guess it looks like it if filled with candies, so... I could probably use one filled with COFFEE some mornings!) And more fun cards in February! Great interactive elements--you handled all the moving parts with the KB sets perfectly. I have a similar fox die and have not had the courage to use it yet. Having him sit on a stump in the woodland is a great idea. Your March cards are again super FUN! Love the mix of card designs and papers you used. I may need to pull out that older BoBunny bee pp to lift that one! MichyM , your Easter cards are really subtle, but really sweet. And great job with the coloured backgrounds! (Those cute little critters don't take anything away, either LOL). Did you colour the fruit, too? And the florals are gorgeous. Don't think I would add a thing, unless some clear drops or sequins to mimic dew drops? You did an AWESOME job with that nordic stencil: love the non traditional colours!

The last five of the custom kit/tutorial cards from Melissa Kerman & crew: I think these will probably all go to Cards for Cubs next March. I thought it was a good deal to get this full kit with instructions, then more recently I bought a similar kit on an instructions-only basis along with half a pack of the cards so that I could add my own layering card stock and the odd die cut etc. I figured it would help me figure out how to use a similar, older set of cards I bought and maybe also similar sets in the future. I'm seeing some signs that SU is changing their approach to quick & easy card making. Not sure it will work as well for me, but we'll see. Soon. But not now because the new annual catalog is still TOP SECRET. Oh, SU.... And here is part of a CS card kit: I made all four of 4x6 ones, but only three of the A4s. I bought extra cutaparts, so I could make a third birthday card. The sailboat one says "Thinking of you" inside. Thinking of you cards are nice and all, but I feel like anytime you'd send one, you really ought be be doing a lot more than sending a card! Maybe that's just me?

Wonderful cards, everyone! I'm just popping back into the crafting side of this board after a very long hiatus, and it's been so nice seeing all of the varied & wonderful cards you've all ben making! As I mentioned on the scrapping threads, we moved a few years back, and my crafting supplies are still packed up and likely will be for some time. We're restoring an older home, and my scrap space is really low on a really lengthy list. But I got tired of not being able to do anything crafty, so I've pulled out one banker's box worth of papers (and some matching embellishments in a few cases) as well as a stack of 6x6 paper pads just so that I can do something, anything! So I'm embracing a very simplified version of crafting for now. I have no tools other than scissors, adhesives, and a few pens. No printer, no cutting system, no inks, stencils, stamps, embossing tools, etc. I did make a card today, so I'll try to get a pic of that and see if I can get it to post properly. I don't usually do much inside a card, but the recipient of this one has a maximalist style, so I decided to go above & beyond my more typically subdued style with this card. (ETA: This is 99.9% "Box of Crayons" by Shimelle. There are 2 tiny bits of paper on there that came from elsewhere--the green & white chevron & solid orange behind the cake. )

Thanks for any advice! )
