Let’s use this thread to share our card creations through the entire year! I hope everyone will continue to share. And that those who have not shared, might consider it <hint, hint>. I get a ton of inspiration from photos of other people's cards! I’m going to try harder to get back to this thread more often, I hope you will too. And PLEASE share…I love love love seeing what everyone is up to! grammadee would you please pin this? Thank you! If you need instructions on how to post photos here, there are EASY instructions here:
These instructions are made using my laptop. If you're using a phone, the location of these choices on your screen may be in different places.
1. Make yourself an account at PostImages 2. click on UPLOAD (upper right) 3. In the middle of the screen, click on DO NOT RESIZE MY IMAGE and select "for message boards" from the drop down menu 4. In the middle of the screen click on UPLOAD IMAGES to select which images you you want to upload from your device (phone, computer, tablet, etc)
VOILA: your images are now in your MY IMAGES on postimages.
Now, to then bring the image into a thread here <------ its super easy, I promise!
1. Navigate to MY IMAGES (upper right) in PostImages 2. click into your GALLERY and then click on the image you want to post. 3. Once into the selected photo, click on SHARE 4. Copy the url for HOTLINKS FOR FORUMS 5. Paste the url into the BODY of a post (you don't need to click on anything over here on proboards)
BOOM! Your photo is here. See, told ya it was easyMy first share of the year. I’ve been working on Card for Cubs, and specifically working on encouragement cards for older kids. I’ll post a bunch more another day. Inside the cards I stamped “You’re amazing!”

I’ve made three cards in 2024 so far: one for a crafty friend, one for my niece, and a very early one for grammadee. Don’t worry about spoilers. She has it already.

justjac your cards keep getting more and more gorgeous ( in person even more so). Such a symphony of colour and texture and design! You are going to have so much fun with that knitting set of tools.

I'm going to try harder to participate on this thread this year. MichyM your coffee cards are wonderful. The colorful ones are such an eye catcher and as much I dislike the color brown in crafting, I must say it works on your coffee cards! justjac Too fun! It's so special to get personalized cards, which looks to be what you've done for recipients. They are each so clever and creative.

Michy, your coffee cards made me smile! Love that fun sentiment and all the interesting variations on the theme. I really enjoyed checking out your lovely colorways. Justjac, your cards are unique and fantastic! Love the playful yarn balls, especially, but they are all wonderful. Here are a few wedding / love-themed cards I made recently. Emily Moore invited me to guest design for her brand new collection of paper crafting supplies, so I made these projects using her dies. I also used Graphic 45's PS I Love You papers and assorted other supplies. Thanks for checking out my projects!

MichyM that sentiment made me laugh! Those are great fun cards SO many possible variations. justjac very fun, wonderfully personal too. The rainbow balls are such a great pun. amysolovay gorgeous, intricate cards, perfect for weddings. They must look even more amazing in person with so much detail. I have some belated/super early Hanukkah cards to share. I decided to use some of my Catherine Pooler leftovers to try out the latest Sheetload sketch and that led me where it always does, to wanting to use up all the papers. I'll donate them to Bring Smiles to Seniors. Sheetload with 6x6 and scraps: Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Using up more scraps. These would benefit from a little more embellishment or an image, but I don't have anything right now. Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

I did the diamond dot cards to send as anonymous kindness greetings for a Facebook page I am on. The heart cards are from a kit from Krazy Kreations. Krazy Kreations cards are alcohol ink coloring on fine glitter paper. I am addicted to their products.

I got one last card out of the Hanukkah scraps and now I'm in between projects, not quite sure what I want to work on next - I have a lot of ideas but nothing that's screaming ME NEXT! Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

More Cards for Cubs. I have about 175 cards that I’ve made over the last year, and my card group has created about that many more so far. Right now we’re at 2 full large flat rate boxes, I’m hoping we can manage to eke out one more box’s worth! I picked up this C&9th set specifically for C4C. I’ve made a couple dozen so far in all sorts of skin colors and background shades, and hope to get another dozen or two made yet: These go together super fast. I used a stencil set from TE, and a die and stamp set from Photoplay. I’ve made about 18 so far, each in a different colorway to keep boredom at bay: This is also a TE stencil set that I hope it appropriate for the older teens: And lastly for now just some random C4C that I put together with already stenciled backgrounds:

MichyM your cards are stunning! I'm trying not to compare or covet, but they're really good and I want all the things and your talent ❤️ But I finally got myself back to my desk and started using what I have right in front of me, because I have a million ideas and plenty of stuff to play with. I'm telling myself these are all "experiments" so I can figure out better ideas. That's my trick for getting started! Working on some birthday cards for Cards for Cubs using pre-made elements I've had stashed away: Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr and trying out the Simon Hurley candles stencil. I don't have the matching stamp yet, but I played with some other ways to decorate: Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Lots more ideas bubbling up

I'd really like to join in the fun, so I'm giving using Postimages a shot. Here goes nothing . . . . I've "adopted" two teams at our local elementary school, the Specials team and the Special Education team. I'm going to make cards for them for the rest of this school year - starting out with Valentine's Day (obviously!) I've had a rough 6 months and been diagnosed with spinal stenosis. I'm just now getting back to being able to sit enough to craft. I thought this would be a good way to get back in the swing of things again.

I went to a Krazy Kreations retreat this weekend and these are two of the cards I made. The first was a retreat project and the second is from a kit that produces three cards.

Love the unexpected shaker element in the first photo and those cupcakes in the second are too cute! That first set with the cocktail glass and the lemon slices reminds me to much of the “Cheers” set from the holiday Pink Fresh event. I wonder if they were inspired by it.

let me know when you’re ready to borrow my Hanukkah goodies and I’ll pop em in the mail to you. Thank you! Probably closer to summertime, I think. I will work on Cards for Cubs and then probably go straight into red white and blue cards for the 9/11 charity. By the time everyone is doing Christmas in July I will probably be ready to think about all the winter holiday cards.

I'm much happier now that I can at least do some crafting. I'm a definite fan of TE, but thanks to all those Crop and Create Delivered weekends, you'll be seeing some other companies too.

Cutting and pasting what I posted in the main sharing thread... Sharing some more Cards for Cubs experiments. More candles, trying different ideas: Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Die cut sentiments leftover from the card above and experimenting with a candle in the I: Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Stamped and cut elements that have been floating around for months: Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I wondered if I could stencil a balloon over a sentiment I had pre-stamped (yes), and then I felt like the balloon needed something extra YES! I love the little hand drawn face so much! I can make dozens of happy little balloons in different colors with different faces, if I don't get distracted by all the other ideas... Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr My Simon Hurley peel-apart candle stamp, C&9th birthday sentiment stamps, and bundle of Solar Pastes arrived today so I have lots more to experiment with!

A set of valentines made with two of the oldest patterned papers in my stash from the July '23 SLoC: Another set of valentines. These are from my A2 variation on the mini-slimline SLoC that was adapted into a 2-for-1 by Crafty Al that I used during CARDtober: The scribbled heart was a wood-mounted stamp I'd had forever that I unmounted to make these. I used up a set of Spellbinders card bases for the second set, too. And I went a little overboard while cutting the patterned paper for those, so I used the leftovers for some birthday Cards for Cubs:
