I think the Playtime line is quite cute and has lots of usable b sides. I also like the cloud paper in Spring is Here but everything else is an easy pass.

I’m not impressed with the colors. Maybe it’s the online factor. Maybe it’s my mood. But the color seem old or drab or historical. Not exciting to me.
I guess if it’s my mood i could look at this again and think differently I don’t know.

Not my style, but I'll give them bonus points for combining a train with florals - that's something I haven't seen before!

Mintay is never really my style, although I occasionally pick up a sheet or two for cards. I think Playtime has some cute images but I don't have a use for it. I also like the colors and some of the images of Traveller, but again, I probably wouldn't use it. Thanks for sharing. Always nice to see something new.

Not my style but I do like some of the B-sides of Playtime. Specifically the star paper in both colors.

Mintay is one of those brands that I love the look of but doesn't fit how I scrap

I never use the whole page scenes that Mintay has (does anybody?) but they usually have great b-sides and fussy cut papers.
Traveler - It just isn't attractive Playtime - Oh my gosh, so cute! I love the colors, the bubbles, the animals. I still have tons of baby photos to scrap so I'm definitely getting this. Always & Forever - Pretty, but the last wedding I went to I didn't even take one photo. I have no need for this one. Spring Is Here - I'm getting this one. I have a rabbit issue, though- I can't pass one up. Pretty colors, beautiful animals, I love the sky paper and the diagonal plaid. Chippies (i.e. chipboard diecuts) - I like Chippies but I wish they were white instead of natural. I have used the music ones before and really like them. I'll probably get the dog/cat one this time. I like that the animals are realistic silhouettes. I want to scrap a lot of photos of my (now departed) cats and I need realistic stuff, not cutesy. They weren't cute. A couple of the cat silhouettes are perfect. Decorative Vellum - $6 a sheet? Are you freaking kidding me? I love vellum but that is just ridiculous.

I really like a couple of the b-sides...the compass paper in the Traveler line, and the cloud papers. There are a couple of the chippies that I see I missed. I like the new florals, but also the tech ones and the outdoor set with the leaves. I didn't catch the price of the vellum until artbabe mentioned it, but I do really like the doily sheet. I could see fussy cutting that for some embellishments, but I would think twice at the price.

That Playtime is a gorgeous, non gendered baby line. I don't need it right now. Love the B sides but if I buy it I may end up hoarding b/c I won't be able to cut up those sweet images on the A's.

I like a couple things in the Playtime line. The rest is cute, but not for me.

I love the B sides on Spring is Here, but I think my wallet is safe.

Oh my these really are beautiful papers. But pretty much unusable to me. Like some of you have already said, there's some really nice B-sides. However I think I'll get the train engine paper from the Traveler line just because it's so striking. Frame-worthy. And I do like the doily chippies. Thanks PaperAngel.

Nothing really spoke to me. Traveller had some fun graphics, but wasn't really my style. The other three lines were pretty florally and too pastel for me.

Seriously?? I really like Playtime but don’t see myself buying it or anything else. Mintay is gorgeous but really not something I can use easily.

Mintay just isn't my style. I do have some of their more basic pads (woodgrains, textures) for die cutting and matting but I can't use their pps. The chippies are cute this time - i especially like the winter set with the snowmen. A lick of white paint and they're ready to use. One of my LSSes carries all the Mintay so I'll be able to pick them up there.

Thanks for your responses. I don't gravitate toward this aesthetic, scene or photorealistic papers, detail/fussy cutting, chipboard, or (overpriced) patterned vellum. Therefore, nothing from this release is added to my wish list.

PaperAngel, thanks for bringing these lovely new collections to my attention! Much appreciated.
Mintay is one of my new favorite paper companies. I find their paper collections simultaneously enthralling and challenging to use. I recently purchased selected bits and pieces from "Places We Go," "Mediterranean Heaven," and "The Great Outdoors". I love, love, LOVE it that their supplies are taking me out of my comfort zone in a way I'm finding to be quite refreshing.
I'm feeling a little overwhelmed looking at the new collections, because I feel like I'm not really finished using everything I wanted to from the old collections yet.
"Traveller" is unique, remarkable and lovely. I love it, but somehow it doesn't cover the mode of transportation I'm scrapping (sailboat) even though it seems to hit most of the other modes available. I'll still probably pick up some bits and pieces from the collection because I love the dramatic contrasts between the colors in the papers. A lot of manufacturers release all medium-toned papers, and I think projects look more striking when they have high levels of contrast. I'll find a use for some of those items.
Playtime is so fun and adorable! The last fair and carnival we went to, I scrapped it using Graphic 45's "Come One, Come All." I love how that album turned out (I'm not totally finished with it yet, but it's finished enough that I can safely say that.) I thought that collection was really different and lovely. I'm pleasantly surprised to find another unique and lovely carnival themed collection in "Playtime" -- the colors are striking and the imagery is really fun. It is really different from what I usually scrap with, and will definitely be a challenge to use, but it's going on my wish list.
The Chippies I am not sure about. I have been waffling about whether to get any of those or not. I really love them and want a bunch of them, but am hesitating because I'm not sure I want to commit the time to actually using them. I used to be on the design team for Clear Scraps, and I still have a ton of unfinished chipboard from those days that I haven't done anything with. While I love the process of experimenting to discover just the right ways to finish each chipboard piece, I am not sure this is currently the best use of my limited crafting time. I did buy one of Mintay's chipboard album bases because I found the shapes on it to be beautiful and irresistible, but go figure, I haven't done anything with it yet.
Meanwhile, I also bought a bunch of pre-printed chipboard from Echo Park / Carta Bella at their big warehouse sale, and have most of it earmarked for projects in process, so I think that was a big win. I can definitely say that pre-printed chipboard is a smarter purchase for me right now than unfinished chipboard is, so I should probably just say no to the Chippies -- but I'm tempted by all those pretty shapes.
Love the $6 vellum sheets but not the price tag on them. I already have a bunch of vellum that needs using, and I did recently get one of Ciao Bella's 6x6 vellum pads, so I will try to be content with using the vellum I have for now.

I do really like the look of the Traveller and Playtime collections, but doubt I'd buy either. This big designs like the train, while cool, are ones I know I will struggle to use. But it's nice to see that little shaped chipboard albums are still a thing! I still have some verrrrrry old ones from when it was all the rage.
