Scorched Timber, another brown. This is a pass for me since I have enough browns.

I actually don't have a single brown distress! I should maybe get one someday... This one might not be a bad choice since it's cool and deep dark. I'm not a brown fan.

I have Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso, and use them a lot. No need for this one.

This one does nothing for me.

I love that it’s a cool brown. I don’t have all of the Distress browns, but I will be picking this one up to use as a soft black, not distinct brown, brown. I think I will get a lot of use from it.

Love that it’s a cool brown! I’m excited to pick it up in the last mini cube set (#18) with the other three newest colours.

I've been waffling on whether or not to get this. For people who care about color trends, this was the gray-brown we needed starting around 2014. But now grays are out and warm browns are making a comeback. If I managed to live without this for the entire decade when gray was THE trendy neutral, do I really need it now?
Also, I already have Black Soot. Do any of you have both Black Soot and Scorched Timber? If so, I'd love your take on whether they are different enough that you're happy to have them both on hand.
I do a lot of stamping, but I tend to work with a really limited color palette. I'd love to have more colors, but I live in a very space-challenged situation.
So I didn't rush out and buy this, but I haven't ruled it out as a possibility.
