Welp, I had no idea this collection was out there until now and how could you not want it if you love Pooh! The colors are gorgeous AND all of the quote cards are just priceless. I can see using those on cards and on scrapbook pages and even on a tag. The B sides are really nice - I mean you could just use those generically. This is one of those collections that manages to be versatile beyond the pooh theme. (Adding to my wish list) Same here! Oldest DD was really into the classic Pooh, and I love it too. Will definitely be getting some of this! Grrrr...thanks, all you enablers! I'm so glad I could bring this to so many of your attention. 😂

Ahhh, yes. I have encountered this scrappy conundrum before. And at times I have caved, other times I have held strong.
If I come across a collection that I truly love, and can easily imagine how to use it for at least 5 different layouts, then that is worth the purchase in my own mind. As for when to buy it, discuss with your husband if he knows about your hopes and plans for staying frozen.
For example, Valentine's Day is coming up. Would this be a nice gift your husband could treat you to, so that you can remain frozen? Paper and stickers last way longer than flowers ever will! 😉
If you truly want to stay frozen and don't want to use an upcoming holiday as an excuse to buy it, then stay strong and remain frozen until you achieve whatever goal it is you set for yourself. What is nice about this collection is that it is from Echo Park. Echo Park seems to reprint their collections for their warehouse sales. Also, they digitize their collections, so it will probably be available on snapclicksupply.com eventually too. So even if you don't buy it now, I don't think you will have an issue finding it later.

I want to preorder that Winnie the Pooh line from Echo Park. My DD was in love with Pooh Bear when she was little. She still has her lovie. She has straightened her life out and is getting married this year. She does plan to have kids. I feel like I need this for when she has a baby. Which could be years in the future really but I have some intense FOMO. I told Jeremy I wouldn't order anything right now. We agreed to cut our spending. But I want this so bad... I just feel like a crazy lady for ordering something for a non existent baby. Haha.... Uh oh! I'm in trouble.

I think I'm the odd man out, but I would say skip it... I really hope that everything goes according to plan and you get beautiful grandbabies in a few years. Then there will always be something Winnie the Pooh related to purchase, it's such a popular character! That said, years ago I purchased some baby & pregnancy products that I was in love with for a future baby. Then I struggled with infertility for years and ultimately ended up not being able to have another baby (I had one daughter when I was very young). Getting rid of those products was just another painful experience, and one that wasn't needed. This is just my take from personal experience, def don't mean to be a downer... That said, if you would be happy to use the collection for other pictures, such as old photos of your daughter when she was little, and you can get some use out of it now and regardless of if/when future babies happen, that might be a reason to get it anyways. This is where my mind went too… Also, non-Disney Pooh is out of copyright now, so Classic Pooh may be showing up in more product lines.

Maybe order is a gift for yourself- so some time you’d get a gift anyway. One year I really wanted this cute library card bag and asked DH to get me that for Valentine’s Day vs flowers. It was a win for both of us!

We will likely see more Classic Pooh in the future. DS's nursery was Classic Pooh, so I have a soft spot in my heart for it. I even traced images of Pooh and friends on his baby quilt and hand quilted the designs in blue on the white squares. I vote to buy it if it makes you happy. There's trimming back spending and then there's things that just make you smile. We always regret the things we don't buy...

Not to enable people more, but Some Assemblage Required has all kinds of classic Pooh wooden embellishments now. I've ordered from this company before and was really pleased with the products.

You are not crazy! You could use some of the collection now if you wanted to. You could take a photo of your daughter's lovie (or one of her with the lovie) and reflect on her childhood in your journaling. You could journal about who bought her the lovie, how did it become her favorite item, did she have any adventures that included her lovie, etc. Keep the rest for the future. Years ago there was a Girl Scout line from (I believe) K&Co that I was going to buy and talked myself out of it because my girls weren't yet in GS. Bam, they joined GS and I went looking for the paper and it wasn't being sold anymore. Please report back with your final decision.

Almost for certain if time isn't an issue, it will pop up in a warehouse sale in the future. They tend to keep reprinting that stuff and offering for lower prices...I assume the profit margin is slimmer but they likely have lower overhead for those products (perhaps they do the have to pay ongoing fees to designers on them...all speculation of course). I want it, too, but that is because Eeyore is my spirit animal (I said that phrase before I could find it printed on things and people adapted it for their 'it' thing...it is everywhere now)...I have a deep affinity for him and have my entire life.
