Has anyone else signed up for this event? Has anyone done one in the past?

I did their scrapbooking event in the summer of 2023. It was really good - they give you a ton of product - entire suites, plus dies and stamps and washi. They do a mix of mini books and layouts. I prefer just layouts, so I'm not doing this one - plus I'm trying to save money. I definitely have FOMO, though, and wish I could do it. The projects they teach tend to be a little different than your typical project from someone like Simple Stories or Echo Park (who I also like) - interesting techniques and uses of the papers. I definitely found the value was good and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have done past ones and will most likely sign up for this too. You get everything in the collection (except the 6x6 pad) and the value of the product alone exceeds the cost. The teachers are great. I, too, prefer just layouts. In the past, I’ve taken the pages of the mini albums (usually tags or very small) and use them on LOs as accents or make a grid LO. The classes don’t usually feel too rushed, and you get a break in between. I like having the instructions as a pdf because I can zoom in on the images. I hope you enjoy it!

So good to hear about the good experiences. It was an impulse buy but I need some inspiration to jump start me back to scrapping.

I really like them. I’ve done a few with them. They basically give you EVERYTHING from each new paper collection release and the boxes contain several. A 12x12 collection pack, alllll the embellishments that go with it! And their collections have a lot of embellishments and letter stickers, puffies, etc. The only thing we didn’t get with each collection was the 6x6 pad. And sometimes we got stamps and sometimes not. It’s a wonderful deal and the boxes are probably the most generous of any virtual event I’ve done.
We also usually get a big alpha die set ($$$!) and a gift. Their gifts are wonderful. One time we got their new stamp chunky tool before it was released to the public.
The teachers are definitely trendier in style. They’re all excellent teachers. I’ve loved all the layouts I’ve made with their events!
I haven’t signed up for next one yet but I probably will. Thanks for the reminder 😂

Now that I’ve seen sneaks of the new collections, I’m glad I didn’t sign up. Too much floral and pink. I still have lots left over from previous events, and struggle to use all those florals and pink. The last two events at least had travel in one and more earthy tones in another to balance. I really don’t need more product I can’t use.
