I use foam squares a lot- almost every layout and I like things to be really stable so I use a lot on each die cut. I bought tons and tons of them from Tuesday Morning back in the day. I've been using them for years but I fear my stash is going to run out in a few months. So I need more glue dots. I need ones that aren't crazy expensive and a bit thick. I've tried some other brands and a lot of them are flatter than what I want. I probably should buy some foam tape for my bigger die cuts, too.
What brands do you buy? I'd love to find some bigger size ones, too. A lot of what I have are very small.
Also, I have a stash of glue dots, both flat and dimensional, that I bought from Tuesday Morning. I'm going to run out of those one of these days, too. Which ones do you recommend? Someone in another thread mentioned micro dots- I'd like to buy some of those, too.
I miss Tuesday Morning. I found a great scrapbook glue there, too, and the company doesn't make it anymore. Ugh. I'm running out of all of my Tuesday Morning goodness.

Have you tried using the Adhesive Foam Sheets from Walmart? They have a nice thickness and you can cut them to whatever size you need. The colors are a bit loud, but I cut them just a smidge smaller than whatever I am trying to give dimension, and they don't show. They have adhesive on one side, so I just add my own on the side that sticks to my paper. They're so inexpensive that it might be worth a shot to see if they work for you. link

I usually buy the 3L thinner foam squares because they're not so thick so they wouldn't be what you're looking for. I have used a roll of thicker adhesive foam before - I think it was a Scotch brand. But I do try to use only acid-free adhesives. Hope you find what you need artbabe.

I've watched Jennifer McGuire videos and a lot of times she glue 3 or 4 dies cut together or 3 or 4 scraps of cardstock together instead of adhesive foam or glue dots. Might be an idea for you.

3L also has thicker foam squares.
I think I got a pack of the thinner ones as a free bonus at SB.C at some point or maybe bought a pack on a whim at OfficeSupply.com to get me up the the free shipping minimum. Then I realized how pricy they are.
I'm going to be sticking (no pun intended) with SU Stampin' Dimensionals, I think. I like them a lot and now realize that they are pretty reasonable for what you get.

I love SB.com's foam adhesive. I generally buy the rolls and it comes in three sizes of thickness.

I recently got a pack of foam Dots from hobby lobby for a class I taught. I actually really liked them. There were sheets of several sizes and they worked well for the projects we did. I’d get them again especially on sale.

I usually get mine at HL. I did get a pack of dots from SB.com a while back and found the release paper really difficult to remove.

I also use the 3L foam squares in black and white. I purchased in bulk from Amazon in 2022 and still have a few packs.

I have been using the Foam Mounting Tape (it is in pieces) from Dollar Tree. It is in their like hardware/automotive section. It comes on a yellow package with a roll of tape on it. If you search for Dollar Tree Foam Mounting Tape you can see the photo of the packaging. I have been using it for years and love it.

I loathe foam mounting squares sold in scrapbook stores. The backing is always hard to remove and the pieces you pull off stick to everything! I have tried a dozen different brands and I hate them all. Five or six years ago I switched to buying a roll of 3M Double Coated Foam Tape and I use it exclusively: Foam TapeI can cut pieces the exact size I need, there is zero waste, and the backing comes off easily (and doesn't stick to everything). If I need a greater thickness, I stack one piece of foam tape on top of the other. I love this stuff.

I buy my foam adhesive from SBC. They now have foam tape rolls in different thicknesses too - 1, 2, and 3 mm. I really like their 1/8” strips - great to pop up journaling strips or use on die cuts.
