I’ve been using this ATG for almost 20yrs and have gone through MANY rolls of adhesive. I had gotten a gazillion rolls and I finally ran out and picked up a 2 pack at Michaels and had to load on tonight…ugh. Like many have said before…it’s like it’s wound backwards. I know that it’s not but I’ve had to unwind and throw away most of this rolll. Maddening. Just wanted to vent. I ordered a new batch from tape jungle

I've always been able to fix it as soon as I put the roll on.

It's so frustrating when you have to do additional steps to make something work! Tape Jungle hasn't done me wrong yet.

I would much prefer a cartridge. Personally I just use the small handheld units.

I had the pink ATG. The roll that came with it was fine. When I finally ran out I couldn’t find same brand replacements for that size. I finally found a couple after market ones online and they were a mess. I just gave up. I didn’t like the ATG all that much anyway. Too big and uncomfortable to use.

I buy refills from tape jungle, never have issues. The scotch brand I only buy the cheap non-archival. The few times I bought the Scotch archival, I've had nothing but problems.

I've had problems with several brands. Tape on the wrong side is easy to fix. I did have issues with about five rolls having cuts on them towards the end of the roll. Every 12-15 inches, I'd have to rethread it.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

I never knew it was correctable...I had a batch of 4-5 rolls that were bad and I ended up throwing them away a ditching my ATG for awhile. Funny enough I JUST bought some at M's the other day because I was scrapping with friends and remembered how much I loved using it. I wonder if I have any of the bad rolls left (I bought A LOT). If I do I'm going to try this!

I have 2 rolls like this. Wish I had seen this simple solution earlier. I followed some more effort video.

If I do I'm going to try this! I always find that a "bad roll" is just pulling from the wrong side of the tape and just needs to be pressed a little to go to the right side of the tape. I am always going to try to make my tape work if possible because it is so expensive.
