I went to the Spellbinders site yesterday looking to see what they had that was new, and found they are having a sale on their Betterpress plates, papers & inks. Most of the items are from their original release and Christmas 2023.
I picked up the Floral View plate & die set and some paper. I got the system for Christmas and am looking to build my collection. It was hard to resist all the pretty things!

I bought myself one just after Christmas with a couple plates and all the inks. I’ll have to check it out! TFS!

I joined Spellbinders Betterpress club but decided to cancel because I didn't like their December release. They make it easy for you to cancel and rejoin later if you wish. They also provide a preview of the plate too so you can cancel before the charge hits your card.
I actually like using my betterpress plates to foil. For some reason, I get a perfect foil every time and they seem to work better than my hot foil plates.

I haven't tried foiling yet. I see so many posts on Facebook of people having problems with it. I haven't even used the BetterPress yet! I hope to this weekend after I get my taxes done. They were having a sale at the time, and I got all the inks, an extra pack of cotton card panels, the Merry and Bright Sentiment strips, the Evergreen Greetings, and Holiday Foliage Joy. I'm hoping I like the sentiments - it seems so easy to do those and then cut them all with the die that is included. |
