Update: Let’s keep this post going if you want. What’s your favorite Don Henley song?
Didn’t that play in some show or movie? All I can find was it played in ER but that’s not the one that’s coming to mind.

The End of the Innocence album always takes me back to my college days. If I had to pick a favorite song, I'd choose Heart of the Matter.

My favorite non Eagles song by Don Henley is probably the End of the Innocence. Although The Boys of Summer is right up there also.
My favorite Don Henley line/lyric is: Out on the road today I saw a DEADHEAD sticker on a Cadillac A little voice inside my head said "Don't look back, you can never look back"
Edited to add: This post made me listen to the End of the Innocence again after not in a long time and I forgot how much I like this album. I want to add these as Henley favorites also…The Heart of the Matter, The Last Worthless Evening, and A New York Minute.

I don't remember a lot of lyrics if just trying to sing on my own.. but this one line from this song I can word from word and LOUD. Oh yes, New York Minute is a great one.

Yeah this one means a lot to me. It played on the last day of summer at a pizza place once and it was the first time I heard the actual lyrics.
