Happy February! And happy 29-4-29! I will be your Thursday host. And because this is the month of Valentines Day and Family Day and other ways to show our love for one another, I have chosen the five Love Languages as my themes.
According to Gary Chapman, we each have a preferred language for receiving and giving love, and several on line quizzes are available to find yours. For February 1st we are going to focus on Quality TIME.
To meet this challenge, you could scrap about quality time with your spouse &/or family or with friends. Or you could just simply use a clock or watch image or the word TIME on your project.
My LO features an evening of family games. My dgs did not like losing, but he later was game to pose for several "freaking out" photos (hidden behind the bottom right pic, but available to be seen by swinging them out from under a brad), and my journaling (not included here) points out that we were ALL winners b/c we could spend time together.
And a second LO for this challenge, with fewer photos. Have not added the journaling yet, but I really love how our ds makes the effort to spend special time with his boys, one-on-one and the three of them together. Mom went to visit with her sister-in-law and dad made sure to take the boys out for a special evening. In a pub... But a special treat for the boys (and those are root beers in their glasses, they tell me...)
So the challenge (5 points for team members) is TIME and the twist (worth 2 points) is the colour BROWN. I have been working so much with bright holiday papers, that it felt good to do a two pager with more toned down shades.
Whether you are a scrapbooker or card maker, whether you belong to a Q-1 team or not, I hope you grab this challenge and run with it. Would love to see what you come up with!

Fun challenge, thanks grammadee! I have some photos of family game day that I took on the weekend, so don't be surprised if I end up scrapping similar photos to you!

I just added a second sample with fewer pic's. I discovered that scrap of Coredinations clock cs when I was looking for the clocks for the first LO but didn't have room to use it. Had fun sanding it and using it when I gave myself more space. Itching to see what you come up with Linda, AussieMeg, jediannie, jokeysmurf...

Time... by BreetheFlea, on Flickr I think this is where I'm supposed to upload this... I went with the clock idea. Time is ticking... I raided my purple drawer (one of the school colors is purple and it's also DD's favorite color) and tried to make that yellow fire hydrant in the 2019 photo part of the layout by using yellow accents Papers are 49 and Market, Echo Park, and Shimelle. The clock paper was a scrap that was sitting on my desk. Day one complete, onto the next one...

Love this take on the "Time" prompt, breetheflea! And good job using up a scrap! (That pre-embossed cs I used was a scrap, too. Never know when you might need just the perfect one!

I finally got around to finishing my page. Although as soon as I uploaded it, I realised that I didn't add a single embellishment! I might go back and add some later, not that there is much room left, with 12 photos crammed on the page.

AussieMeg - I don't think it needs any embellishments. Love how you got all those photos on there!
