What station and time is “The Floor” on? It's on Fox on Wednesday I think. The episodes are all available to watch on Demand. When DSO told her how much damage has been done, she said that she wasn't going to tell her mum that, because she would be devastated. I would think the neighbor's insurance would go after her insurance company for the damages.

jeremysgirl I would feel the same way as you. Maybe you could call the nonemergency number and ask them to drive by and just check on your yard and your driveway and everything. Explain to them what happened today and how nervous you are being home alone. I’m sure that they will have no problem coming out and checking your property out.

jeremysgirl , it sounds like that guy rattled you. Just remember that your doors are locked and you are safe. If it'll make you feel better you can call your community service number at the pd and ask them if they could send an officer on patrol to do drive by overnight. They might be able to patrol your street a few times. If an officer is out on patrol, anyway might be worth asking just for your peace of mind. If you are too scared can you go sleep at your mom's or even Jeremy's mom's place?
ETA: destined2bmom, I just read your post. Great minds think alike.
AussieMeg, I hope that the sale will continue. Perhaps the new owners will go through w/it knowing that so many things will be new.

I would think the neighbor's insurance would go after her insurance company for the damages. Yes that is how it will work. Luckily the driver was insured. We have to get a few minor repairs, but nothing like next door. I'm trying to get onto my insurance company, but the guy I spoke to was a twit, and I haven't tried again yet.

AussieMeg , I hope that the sale will continue. Perhaps the new owners will go through w/it knowing that so many things will be new. I hope so, for their sake. Mind you, the house had just been renovated not much more than a year ago, so it was already quite new. And to make matters worse, the woman has stage 4 cancer with only a year or two to live. She doesn't need this stress.
